What is the freeview HD picture like on this tv ? Wonder if the SD channels would look poor ?
    Avatar
All SD channels will look poor compared to HD. The TV doesn’t matter.

Hi, I bought a TV from Costco and I put the TV and the £15 online membership in the basket at the same time and that worked and had the TV delivered.

Not bad but not quite cheap enough for me to risk a Hisense OLED. £550 and lower would temp me (edited)
    Avatar
What risk? Costco and its ease of warranty claims makes this 0 risk pretty much. Doubt many if any others offer 5yrs on lower models from brands like Hisense etc (edited)

Great price, I've got last year's 55" version, which has been a great performer, but this one is technically better, with a brighter 120hz panel, and HDMI 2.1 included.
  6. Avatar
Where did you see the upcoming offer from costco?
  7. Avatar
What brand is the panel in this?
    Avatar
Most likely LG. As I believe almost all oled panel are made by them.
  8. Avatar
Is online membership enough to access offers such as this or do you need warehouse membership?
    Avatar
If it's not a warehouse deal, all you need is online membership. I got multiple items that way, only £15 for a year.

OLED for under £600. How far we have come ! Heated.
    Avatar
    And 4k 120hz too
  10. Avatar
Uhhh. Just took delivery of Samsung Serif 2020 55 and sound bar for 599.
I'm starting to think I should ask the John Lewis guys to come back and get this.
    Avatar
this is 48inch why cheaper than 600

How are Hisense tv’s in general? Are they worth a punt or stick to big name brands?
    Avatar
Along with TCL, they're pretty incredible value-wise
  12. Avatar
Can’t find any reviews on this anywhere!!?
    Avatar
    Same

    This or the LG OLED48A26LA?
    Avatar
This if you want 4K 120Hz which the A2 doesn't have.
  15. Avatar
Was in the lookout for a new OLED, was thinking to wait for the LG C2 for £799 but this is rather tempting.... I'll do my research but any opinions? Thanks!
    Avatar
There's no guarentee of the C2 dropping significantly as the C3 isn't much of an upgrade this year.
  16. Avatar
Would this be good as a pc monitor?
    Avatar
Not sure I'd chance it on an OLED myself unless you really sure you know what you're doing...
  17. Avatar
Amazing find, anyone know what stock volumes will be like or this going to sell fast?

    Was waiting for a cheap £250 50”+
Tempted to make the jump now seeing such a bargain

Would people suggest this as a long term TV investment/future proof especially with the extended warranty?
  18. Avatar
Is this a good TV for watching from tight angles ? Cheers
    Avatar
OLED are great for viewing at angles.
  19. Avatar
Hmmm. TV is in the basket alongside the online membership but it doesn't seem to be recognising the £200 off.

Do we have to wait until 23rd Jan or am I doing something wrong?
    Avatar
    You said it yourself bud
  20. Avatar
Can you just buy membership again if you need to repair under warranty or does it need to be continual to qualify for 5 year warranty?
    Avatar
    The former
  21. Avatar
Tempted! Any recommendation for a desk swivel mount for this TV please?
  22. Avatar
This should be red hot. Hisense is killing it right now.
  23. Avatar

    What’s the energy rating?
  26. Avatar
    HDMI 2.1 surely?
    Avatar
    Yep.
  27. Avatar
What’s the energy rating for this TV?
    Avatar
G, but then all TV's are either F or G due to the energy ratings changes introduced in 2021. A on the old scale is now G.
