Good reviews and beats other deals posted, for those who bank with Barclays.

How do you claim Barclays cashback?

Bought this a week ago for £369, brilliant tv, easy to set up, excellent picture and the sounds not bad either

Log in to your Barclays account and then click the cashback section (use the search if you cant see it). Search for Curry's, like you would with quidco or tcb and then order through the link that opens up.

Suggest find another retailer . Curry's aren't the best with customer service or warranty

Got this for £299 from AO after I told them I wanted to return it

I don't like liking Curry's/PCworld, it feels unnatural, almost dirty as if defending a previously guilty 'as hell' person. BUT...

This black Friday they honoured all my ps4 pro orders (underpricing by >£100 in some cases), along with lots of other people's orders, when they didn't legally have to. Other items they have consistently offered at low/lowest prices.

2 year guarantee isn't bad IMO. Hisense are emerging as a reliable brand from what I have read.

My hisense 43 inch broke after 14 months! Great TV though.

cashback is limited in scope as it has to be an existing (or new if fast enough) customer of Barclays, isnt open to everyone like TCB/Quidco

at £379 its still an ok price but is £10 cheaper at AO for those who dont mind AO.

Im not getting Barclays cash back on this tv... Anyone know why.. It the cashback just on certain items

And do you have to have blue rewards for that?

Yes you have to sign up to blue rewards. £3 a month. Then shop at currys via the link on the barclays site.

I believe this is not true. You can earn the cashback without being a blue rewards member.

I spoke with Barclays webchat and asked them the question of cashback and not being a blue rewards customer and the person on the chat didn't mention anything regarding blue rewards. He just said it can take up to 30 to get you cashback and that you should get it.

Correct. I went to bank on the way home from work and was told it will take over 35 days to track. Did not need Blue rewards, but was told Blue rewards gives a little extra on some purchases.

I'm torn between the 49" and 55" which is £100 more, but I don't know if that extra cost is worth it.

It might/might not help as a size comparison but here's my 49" one. The mirror above is 6ft.32591123-qSeGw.jpgThe tv below the 49" Hisense one is a 40" samsung one.

Thanks. I've got a Currys close by so I can take a look, but having a 40" does help to compare.

Anyone used this TV with an Xbox One X yet and if so is it a good match?
