43 inch for £299 is tempting, anyone know if these are any good?
Hisense Tvs are amazing. Have a 50" one and just bought the 65" one. Quality TVs at amazing prices
How are the blacks?
looks like a great deal but the support horror stories just put me off what could be a great tv.
Is this the 2019 model?
FFS got mine from here £400 not long ago.

Absolutely not owned by LG, Hisense is a huge Chinese company.

Uh-oh, just submitting a claim for repair of my almost-2-year-old Hisense. I have heard they aren't very reliable but was hoping it would get fixed without much hassle.
Anyone got good calibration settings
Never ever again, good until you need support. Thanks to Argos that they replaced my with a LG after several month of trying to get unsuccessful help from Hisense UK support regarding a loss of saved TV programs. Their argument was that my fault was a bug which will eventually fixed in future software updates.
Shocking.......
If you get this tv from John Lewis or richer sounds you won’t have to deal with Hisense directly in the event of a fault right

For first 2 year you will, I had a problem with WI-FI keep dropping connection when it woke from standby. Was directed to Hisense. However had a load of hassle and in ended up being replaced by retailer.

I had an issue with clouding in the corners most noticeable when displaying blacks and Hisense uk replaced it no problem. Well there was a problem in that the replacement model had the same issue but not quite as noticeable so it's obviously the cheap panels. I'll certainly be sticking to Samsung in the future

Bought one of those in 2016 still going strong. Purchased from JL with the 5 year warranty just incase as Hisense had just started to appear. Next tv will be a Hisense not had any issues at all.
Looks ok and tempted
Bought this T.v.today with Argos card..Thanks
We had issues with our Hisense constantly freezing. John Lewis pushed is to Hisense who sent out a usb stick with firmware update which resolved it. Now we have issues with it randomly shutting off. Again, had to contact Hisense who have arranged a local TV repair company to come and fix it. Tbh, hoping the issues persist and John Lewis let me eventually switch it. Worse TV I've ever had...never again.
Just received mine, unfortunately it doesn't come with mounting bolts included so if you're wall mounting you'll need 4x 10mm M6 bolts for the 50inch TV.
Is this worth spending the extra on over their cheaper 50 inch models? Regularly seeing those for £300 or less on here & the one on Richer Sounds @ 349 has a 6 year warranty. I'm not sure where the trade off is within the Hisense range so if anyone in the know could help it would be appreciated.

My bracket came with a selection of mounting bolts. Not sure if that's usual but if it is then would take the hassle out of sourcing some.

I was mounting to my old mount, old TV was my, new TV M6. Rather annoying but not too big an issue really.
Could anyone tell me how this deal posted compares to this?: argos.co.uk/pro…839
