As above.

Good price with a 6 year warranty.

Ultimate OLED – Ultra HD Premium
Supporting the reference stand, Ultra HD Premium, the Hisense 55O8BUK stands with the very best TVs available. Using an OLED screen, this Hisense 55 inch TV delivers stunning levels of clarity and depth. Unlike conventional LED TVs, OLED uses individually controlled pixels for perfect contrast. As a result, darks are much deeper and light colours brighter. In between, the colour is more natural and lifelike, giving superb image realism.

SMR 200 for the smoothest motion
Working in conjunction with the OLED screen, SMR 200 delivers the smoothest motion yet. With double the refresh rate of conventional, you’ll see more of the image more of time. This means fast action movies and sports events flow more naturally, with more detail visible at all times.

HDR support, including Dolby Vision
HDR maximises picture quality, bringing detail to the darkest areas of the picture as well as making the overall image look more lifelike than ever. As well as HDR10 and HLG formats, this Hisense is also compatible with Dolby Vision. Dolby Vision optimises the HDR format to give quite simply the sharpest, most accurate images possible. Very much an industry standard, Dolby Vision continually adjusts the picture for the most remarkable realism.

Dolby Atmos compatible sound
With a Dolby Atmos processor built-in this sophisticated Hisense TV decodes Atmos sound tracks - giving you the potential for an even more immersive sound. With its built-in equaliser and a 20 watt amp, the H55O8BUK delivers a powerful sound, tuned by you.

Smart TV made easy, with VIDAA U 3.0
Featuring a brand new Smart OS called VIDAA U 3.0, this Hisense 55 inch OLED TV makes smart TV simple. Bringing together a wide range of apps and devices, VIDDAA U 3.0 lets you switch between them all in three steps or fewer – no more complex sub-menus. You’ll find easy access to all your favourite TV services, including Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube and Freeview Play – and all 50% faster to access than before.

Freeview Play for catch-up TV
Freeview Play makes catch-up TV easy. Find programmes from BBC iPlayer, the ITV Hub, All4 and Demand 5 sitting alongside over 60TV Channels and up to 15 HD channels. Simply scroll back in your TV guide to watch shows you missed from the last 7 days. Just make sure your TV is connected to the internet and you’re good to go.

Fully connected
Fitted with four HDMI sockets, the 55O8BUK has all you need for connecting sources. All of these sockets are now HDMI 2.0 version with HDCP 2.2, making this TV compatible with UHD Blu-ray players and 4K HDR streaming services. Other connections include twin USB sockets – perfect for connecting media devices and playing back music, photos and video. Throw in an optical connection for a soundbar/base and you’ve everything you need in an HDR TV.

Slim design for style – even when switched off
With its super-slim bezel and sleek stand design, the Hisense 55O8BUK looks good from any angle. The near bezel-less frame lets you concentrate on the image rather than the TV’s surround. With all the speaker and tuner components located at the base of the TV, the top part is super-slim, giving the appearance of an incredibly low-profile design.

Enjoy ultimate picture quality, with the Hisense 55O8BUK.

This was only £899 a couple of weeks ago, but still a good price for those that missed the Hisense sale. Plus you get that 6 year warranty so all in all a good deal. Heat added.

Well I hope those that bought direct don’t have any problems.. uk.trustpilot.com/rev….uk?
Mind you a lot of those complaints appear to be centred around fridges & freezers.

Fortunately this retailer scores pretty good uk.trustpilot.com/rev…com so should a problem crop up I’m sure they’ll sort it.
Seen this a few hours ago and found reviews not very good and with a Panasonic and LG available for a bit more from RS better value?
This will be discounted soon. Hisense have always started with high prices and when they drop they drop to very good value prices. At this price alternatives from LG would be considered by me but if this drops In price then worth a look at along with long guarantee
What panels do Hisense use? Surely it's not worth the price

only LG make oled panels the sell the panels to other manufacturers who fit the their own cabinets and software
Too close in price to the LG B9, this needs to be around £899 to get plenty of sales.
I got an LG B9 for £1059 from richer sounds. Price matched by THT Scotland website who were selling for £20 more. Bought last weekend.
