Hisense customer service is excellent. My tv started switching itself off so I rang them up. Conversation went like this..

What colour light is on at the bottom of the tv?
Blue
Where did you buy it from
AO
Ok we'll send you a code, ring AO, give them the code and they'll replace it with the same one or the same priced equivalent.

And they did. Well they would have done but I wanted the newer 65" which was £150 more that I'd paid for my 60" - AO offered to go halves on the difference.
I'd pay the extra £50 and buy from RicherSounds with a 6yr warranty.

Have this TV for over a year now and really happy with it. Not the best out there, but worth the money (I have paid £300 on Gumtree for new, boxed )

Nope. Has been £579 since Christmas.
I should have bitten on 15% eBay discount day....was £504 then.
I'd pay the extra £50 and buy from RicherSounds with a 6yr warranty.

Got one of these over Christmas for my son and he loves it definitely worth the money
10” bigger than my hisense which has been absolutely spot on now for 2 years. I’d bite if I thought that few inches was worth it. Voted hot just because mine has been awesome for the money

Yes delivery available. But no stock in stores to collect.
Not trying to knock it. But this TV is posted here like every week for £529-599. I'd say this is its normal price

They even price match so will match Argos as long as it’s in stock and you get the long warranty from richer sounds. It’s a no brainer. Don’t understand why anyone would but a tv from Argos / curry’s etc when richersounds or John Lewis do longer warranty and price match.
No price match at RS because of the lack of warranty at Argos

For the money I'm chuffed to bits.

For the record Argos boosted the price from £579 to £699 on 15% off Ebay day.

Fortunately AO on eBay stayed at £579. Hence me buying it for £504.00.

Delivered next day aswell.

I got one before Christmas. For the money it's great. Tide me over until oled come down in price a bit more

I paid £575 from Amazon. £500 with the eBay discount was a Stella deal.
Got this, edge bleed is to be expected. Netflix hdr is terrible but I'm pretty sure it's netflix fault because if you Google it alot of people say its bad not just on this set, 4k blue planet from disc looks absolutely fantastic on this, bright and colourful look awesome blacks arnt the best but it's 65" can't really complain.

What do people think of these pics of the bleeding, Richer sounds told me any replacement would likely have the same. Thoughts?

Ultimately you get what you pay for. Personally I would put the £500 towards a better TV if you can afford to do. I can see the merits of this TV but for me pictures like the ones you've posted and having seen the very poor viewing angles of other Hisense TVs puts me off. Certainly wouldn't buy without the extended warranty.

Heat! I miss plasma TV 's - Panasonic VT 's and Pioneer Kuro 's tbh!

I wouldn't buy any other TV other than a hisense now, bough the older model of this 2 years ago and it's fantastic value.

Just got the 55 last month for another room and also equally pleased

Took me two months to accept fault with mine. I had to set up a Dropbox profile just to send them photos. In the end they accepted the fault.

Absolute nightmare and if avoid like the plague.

Yes.... Waiting
Got this for my folks for Christmas from Richer Sounds. Cracking TV, the only thing that sucks is the app store, but that was easily resolved with a modified Firestick

Get a smaller size for this money, or save up for a better big TV....this TV is a poor performer overall, that's the cold hard truth

This tv is the best bang for buck
I would bite if it had a better warranty
Bought before Christmas. Great tv but there is some ghosting on some inputs. Biggest issue is it can freeze on Netflix app and you have to pull out power cable to sort. A minor pain that I can live with. Compared to TVs of ten years ago it’s amazing.

Why should I? If you can't be bothered to research yourself, then by all means buy it. It's like someone going to poundland and buying a £1 iPhone cable and not understanding why it's so cheap compared to good quality ones.
