Great TV, just had freeview play update today

this is M7000 model before people ask.

if you are happy to reduce size to 55" Samsung ks7000 is way better and can be found for similar price.

m7000 will except HDR signal but is not UHD Premium certified (does meet the minimum requirements for real HDR) not a worth while investment if you plan to keep more than a couple of years.

Plus £19.95 delivery unless you're within driving distance so totals £1014.92. Better to pay the extra £4.08 getting JL to price match and an easy 5 year warranty

what's the difference between this and the 5500 model ?

iv been looking at this for a while now but with new models on the horizon I may wait and see

what jenmumof5 just said

yes but you will get a much more future proof version and it still won't be a through the roof price compared to its competitors

yes but when you buy that tv in 6 months time there will be a new version just aroun the corner... my point is how long does someone wait..... food for thought

no these next set will be more future proof with hdr becoming more of a big things with ps4 and xbox one new versions. More mainstream pal always worth waiting for technology to take off before you jump in

If you're happy to reduce the size you will greatly reduce the benefits of hdr and 4k

Yeah it is a bit crazy. A 65 inch TV's viewable screen area is 40% larger than that of a 55 inch TV.

With the understanding that you could fit a 65 inch TV in your room of course. Unless the image quality of the larger screen is (literally) absolute rubbish, I don't think it is good advice to recommend a 55 inch screen for the same price.

Not sure JL will price match as it's not really Debenhams , both OP link and this link point to the same company. "Buy it Direct" buyitdirect.co.uk/ are the parent company and I suppose they are not classed as a "high street store"
