I have been looking for this TV to come back in-stock for few days and is now available £50 cheaper than the last deal price and comes with 5 years JL warranty.

John Lewis have apparently got plenty of stock(about 80 units). I've just placed my order which is due to be delivered next Friday... looking forward to it..!!

Why? Is it bad TV? I've heard great feedback from a lot of discussion forums....

I have got a Hisense TV from 6 years ago that is still going strong.

At least it's not an unknown brand like Onkyo.

Speakers are likely to be crap.

"onkyo" ??? Did you make that name up

No they own Loughborough Sofa Company which is a well known Japanese brand.

bought a Hisense 58k700 a few months ago. The picture is superb but 4k does not work when inputting from bt ultra hd box and their support is rubbish about the issue. Every month an update is promised and every month it does not appear.

Speakers in my k700 are superb, loads of bass.

I got the 58" 4K model and the picture is great, puts my previous Panny LCD to shame and that cost over £1200.

As for the speakers (on mine) they are ace, in fact I am selling my soundbar cos i don't need it now.

Might upgrade to this now - heat added.

Nice TV, shame HDR is only available via USB!

NEED HELP!!

other than the brand "Hisense" is there anything wrong with it?

its the HDR real HDR or fake/half HDR as in 8bit or 10bit?

its for my parents and i dont think they care about known brand names like samsung, LG, or etc!

thanks for all your help in advance

great deal- ordered

If it doesn't carry the Ultra HD Premium branding, it really is a pointless purchase. Just buying 4K for 4K's sake is pouring money down the drain - it'll just be an expensive 1080p set. Don't say you weren't warned.

Yes, true. I found this via an old link I saved few days ago. The tele sales guy was unable to find it initially, but later confirmed the stock after checking in another system which is directly linked to their warehouse stock.

John Lewis warranty is not what it used to be. I have got a spider in my LG plasma and they refused to do anything about it

onkyo ? sounds like a yogurt brand

Ive got this on order from amazon, should I cancel for this one? h65m5510 or h655500 thanks in advance

I bought the Hisense 65M7000 a month or 2 ago and it's superb, and though I'm no expert I've always bought quality TVs, Kuros and the like. I know it's a different set but it's the same brand and the build quality is excellent.

5 year warranty, great deal. moving in a few weeks and have a nice big living room to fill

News flash: they all suck dummy.

I'm pretty sure anyone who spends £750 on a TV already owns a decent set of 7.1 speakers.

how do you figure that?

this is super tempting!
Currently have a 60" Samsung plasma 3D telly, which is like 4yrs old now. Its a normal Full HD telly....
I watch .MKV and .MP4 files on it through 2 media players (1080p)....
So I guess this would defo work out to be an upgrade in that sense ?
and yeah, I Read and heard good things about HiSense, getting there name out there with solid equipment...

now.............. could I sell my Samsung for £500 on ebay I wonder ?!
And 1 more thing, is LED better than LCD ? Plasma is the best for smooth framerate, no idea what LED is like ?

I don't like bragging about it but I'm kind of a genius..

Well ok, if you say so. if one is buying a budget TV why would they necessarily have 7.1 let alone good 7.1

I would love this, do they do 12 months interest free? bad timing for me financially looks like nest time round

Is that why my tv speakers are perfectly good? ****.

so is this full 4k hdr? also, has anyone used sky q uhd through this? I've heard other brands having problems?

yeah agree the last one was rubbish, the reboot is hopefully going to … yeah agree the last one was rubbish, the reboot is hopefully going to better.

actually being serious here.....big spider walking inside the glass panel, John Lewis refuse to do anything. Useless!

To be fair, he is right. you cant fit 'good' speakers in the super flat tvs, theres no room. and while yours may be fine, they wont compare to even a moderate soundbar. just physics and such!

Here's a more detailed link to the Hisense website, gives a better description of the TV than the John lewis site, eg; USB 3 connection as well.Hisense 65K5510 specs

product description states "hdr - no"?
