With its top-end ULED picture, the Hisense 65U8BUK delivers super images.

Brighter and smoother
Improving on the already impressive U7BUK model, the Hisense 65U8BUK features an even brighter and smoother running panel. The 100Hz panel features SMR200 for the smoothest, most stable motion – perfect for fast-moving sports events and action movies. Peak brightness leaps forward to 1000 nits, giving punchier colour and greater depth.

Local dimming and Wide Colour Gamut for brilliant picture quality
The Hisense 65U8BUK uses a range of Hisense technologies to deliver class-leading picture quality. Local dimming controls individual areas of the screen, for darker and lighter contrast – giving superb realism. Wide Colour Gamut maximises the colour range for a broader spread of colour.

HDR support, including Dolby Vision
HDR maximises picture quality, bringing detail to the darkest areas of the picture as well as making the overall image look more life-like than ever. As well as HDR10 and HLG formats, this Hisense is also compatible with Dolby Vision. Dolby Vision optimises the HDR format to give quite simply the sharpest, most accurate images possible. Very much an industry standard, Dolby Vision continually adjusts the picture for the most remarkable realism.

Dolby Atmos compatible sound
With a Dolby Atmos processor built-in this sophisticated Hisense TV decodes Atmos sound tracks - giving you the potential for an even more immersive sound. With its built-in equaliser and a 30 watt amp, the H65UB8BUK delivers a more powerful sound, tuned by you.

Smart TV made easy, with VIDAA U 3.0
Featuring a brand new Smart OS called VIDAA U 3.0, this Hisense 65 inch TV makes smart TV simple. Bringing together a wide range of apps and devices, VIDDAA U 3.0 lets you switch between them all in three steps or fewer – no more complex sub-menus. You’ll find easy access to all your favourite TV services, including Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube and Freeview Play – and all 50% faster to access than before.

Freeview Play for catch-up TV
Freeview Play makes catch-up TV easy. Find programmes from BBC iPlayer, the ITV Hub, All4 and Demand 5 sitting alongside over 60TV Channels and up to 15 HD channels. Simply scroll back in your TV guide to watch shows you missed from the last 7 days. Just make sure your TV is connected to the internet and you're good to go.

Fully connected
Fitted with four HDMI sockets, the 65U8BUK has all you need for connecting sources. All of these sockets are now HDMI 2.0 version with HDCP 2.2, making this TV compatible with UHD Blu-ray players and 4K HDR streaming services. Other connections include twin USB sockets – perfect for connecting media devices and playing back music, photos and video. Throw in an optical connection for a soundbar/base and you've everything you need in an HDR TV.

Slim design
With its near bezel-less frame, the 65U8BUK lets you concentrate on the image rather than the TV’s surround. The sleek stands compliments the TV perfectly, giving an understated appeal.

Get closer to the real thing, with the Hisense 65U8BUK.

So gutted I went for the b7500 65 inch when the cash back offer was in. I always wanted this one and didn't think it would drop this low!
I bought this for £875. Pleased with it but a bit gutted to see such a price drop.

I've not played any games, but have noticed that if I switch to game mode and view my computer on screen then the picture judders whenever I scroll a webpage. As for sport I don't watch much but have looked at some American football which looked fine without having to switch to a sports mode.
I mostly use it for films, TV downloads and as a computer monitor (the laptop is connected to TV with a HDMI cable. For that it is very good. I am nostly pleased with the brightness of the picture. On my last Hisense 65inch I had to switch to a dynamic picture and then still wack the brightness and contrast up, with this I can watch films and TV and have not had to alter any of the default settings.
I would not recommend it however as every hour or so the bottom of the picture will very briefly flicker across the screen. Not enough for me to worry about but it would drive some people to distraction I am sure.
I've had a look but can't see any direct comparisons. What's the biggest upsell on this vs the cheaper 7500?

The 'judder' is almost certainly cos you're using the wrong refresh rate.

That picture flicker you mentioned sounds like a fault to me though, I'd get it replaced.
It seems that when Buy online or click collect is not available you will be very lucky to find in store and why they have the Telesales ticked seems to try to get you to buy another TV.
I know nothing about TV's... Is Hisense a good brand?

Been onto them twice now, won't allow you to order in store but can put your name down, coming into the warehouse end of Nov.. so these will be part of Black Friday I presume
Richer Sounds have told me that the code isn't applicable on this TV.
Anyone actually bag this for the price? Best can elsewhere is 799
