cant purchase online? so cant see how to enter the code?
Yes, unusually in this day and age, the T&C says the code has to be used on telesales or in store. Seems a bit old school, but not terminal. Apologies, my first deal.
I bought this earlier today. It is not actually in stock, it is a special order which I was told is a 2 week minimum delivery. Hence why there is no online order method, only telesales or instore. Money is taken straight away and the invoice emailed straight away also so its dated within the Hisense cashback offer time period. The guarantee details are sent out when the TV is despatched, so the TV guarantee starts the same time as delivery.
I’ve got a 55 inch uled by hisense the picture is great, but please don’t confuse uled with oled there is no comparison on black levels.
Good TVs though
Seems like a lot tv for the money,

Whats the difference this and the U7B?

How it compares to qled?

That's a bit like asking how apples compare to oranges. ULED is Hisense and QLED Samsung. Both have several models with different costs and qualities.
This or the Samsung ru8000
How does this compare to H65U9AUK for £999 on Hisense ebay?

It can be difficult to compare TVs. All have their strengths and weaknesses, and it's a matter of matching what 'you' want from a TV with each TV's capabilities and try to get the best 'fit' for your budget. Having said that... Broadly speaking the U8B claims to have the following advantages over the U7B... Better image resizing (upscaling standard-def or hi-def images into 4k resolution), capability with fast moving objects (think sports coverage) and higher screen brightness. The U9A is Hisense flagship LED from last year and I don't think supports Dolby Vision if that is important to you. But whether any of that makes a difference in the real world is something only you can answer based on your list of requirements. In addition to Donster's links above for the Hisense, there is a review for the RU8000 on Rtings rtings.com/tv/…000

I think the QLEDS are in a different price bracket and you might need to go towards the more expensive models in that range to get the full benefit....

The best advice I have read is to get some content you a familiar with onto a usb stick (your typical viewing...football, movies, soap opera or whatever) and head to a store that has the TVs you are interested in. Don't rely on the demo material the manufacturers want you to see, watch content you are familiar with and make sure it displays it how you like it.

Apologies for the delay and hope that helps.

Thank you NeutralObserver. The appeal of the U9A is the brightness of 2500 nits over the claimed 1000 nits for the U8B as well as the superior backlighting on the U9A. Surprising that Dolby Vision was not included in last year's flagship model.

Like you say, it would probably be best to have these side by side and do a personal comparison but the U9A generally not available in showrooms anymore.

I would be keen to hear opinions on the U9A - if anyone has seen it.

Thanks again
