I took the plunge, at this price. It will do for movie nights. Doubt I’ll game on it, only 60Hz refresh rate, high input lag, not true 10bit display.

When you get it and set it up is it possible to do a mini review as there’s no reviews online that I can find
price is 850-10% so 765, bargain...
Can one of the mods change deal title as price of tv dropped £50. So should be £765 for everyone with code not £81
The 70 inch Philips pus7304 is probably a better buy at 750.

Yeah I saw this thread.. it was helpful. The main question I have is about the backlight.. is there a lot of banding on darker pictures as it’s a massive TV.
Clicking on the link, the price has gone up to £999 before discount
price back up to £999
Is it worth taking out the 4 year service guarantee on this? I was reading manufacturers warranty not great.

Build quality is fine, App Store not the best but neither is the Samsung store, has everything you need, but true android would be better to side load on to. Sound is fine and picture is good through Netflix 4K, Dolby vision comes on ok. I never thought I would say this but the size 75” is to big, the viewing anglers are a bit off (I think this will be fine once I get it set up in the room properly). £765 for the size it’s good value, it’ll be good for movie nights, which is what I got it for. If your looking for a better picture quality or lower input lag for gaming, I would go for LG oled or even Samsung QLED. I hooked the satellite cable up and tried normal tv, it was absolutely fine no banding, no worse than any of my 55” TVs on standard def.. As more hd and uhd content comes out it will be worth the money for the size..

i tend not to get excited over things, so this isn’t a bad review...

Thanks for this!
Another quick question, have you tried putting a black or grey scale image on the TV and viewing it in a dark room to see how good or bad the light/edge bleed is or if it’s patchy in places.

Tried the black it’s not patchy, there are light patches at the bottom of the screen at certain angles eg if your at the side view but once you move further back and view as a whole they go. Not an issue at all if watching or playing and blacks show up only of test page like I say from different angles.. if you want big at a cheap price you won’t be disappointed..

Yeah, I’m going to wait for my local Costco to stock it, they’ve already told me it’s a new line and they are just waiting for stock to come in.
Plus I’ve just had my tonsils out today so even if they get it in stock soon I’m going to have to delay getting it till I feel better
Bargainhead03/03/2020 18:04

Just purchased it from Costco online.. randomly checked on their site and it was there.
Made a post on here to for it.
