Hi guys!

I think this is a cracking deal. This American style fridge freezer has great reviews and its price has been recently reduced from £719 to £669 at AO.com and Argos. Use discount code 'AMERICAN75' to bring the price down to 594!!! Discount code should work with all American style fridge freezers over £600. You could possibly get 4% cashback from Quidco as well. I've been looking at this fridge freezer for some time now as I'm shortly moving to a new house. I couldn't stop myself and ordered it tonight with free delivery.

Key Features
  • 535 Litre capacity - holds 29 bags of food shopping
  • Air circulates around the cabinet, keeping food fresh
  • Digital motor is quiet, long lasting & energy efficient
  • Water and ice dispenser - plumbing required
  • Standard width - 91cm

Product Overview
More room to stock up means fewer trips to the supermarket – and this enormous Hisense American fridge freezer has a 535 litre capacity, enough for 29 bags of groceries. Multi Flow Technology keeps cold air moving around the fridge cabinet. This maintains an even temperature with no hot spots, so your food stays really fresh. This model is powered by a digital inverter motor which is super quiet and energy efficient. There’s a handy plumbed water and ice dispenser too – perfect for summer garden parties.

I have one of these, love it

This is basically the same as the KENWOOD KSBSDIX16 currys.co.uk/gbu…tml.

A lot more reviews on curry’s which are really positive.

Bought this from argos for £611. When it was delivered, after a couple of days we noticed the ice dispenser would only fill two ice cubes.
After kicking off with argos they agreed to send out another fridge freezer.
BTW we only kicked off as argos had sent out an engineer who stripped the whole of the front door of our fridge freezer and suggested parts needed changing.

Now 6 months in, the leaver on the water/ ice dispenser had snapped off. Now we have been waiting since the first phone call to hisense Warranty 3 weeks for a replacement part for an engineer to come fit it.

So, so far the build quality seems good at first, but with cheap tacky parts things are going to break.

It is good value for money, and with two years warranty it gives you peace of mind.

Bought this in July for £530, quality seems good everything works well. Mine came with a 5 year warranty though, 2 years manufacturer and 3 years 3rd party from appliance direct.

Bought this a month ago for £648 from Mark's Electrical, it's awesome. Really quiet apart from a high-pitched buzz every couple of hours that lasts for around 5 seconds. Highly recommended.

How long have you used?

Only had it around 6 months, but really like it, quiet, nice display screen for temperature etc, light when dispensing. Actually prefer the look to the much more expensive Samsung which had buttons which felt a bit plasticy

Have this can’t fault it been in for a year now

I bought the Fridgemaster American fridge freezer, hisense also make this one, I paid around £360, it's been good so far, quiet, had it around 9 months now, Solid build, from ao. Com

Cold, doesn't have HDR, only 8 bit panel etc...

Own this in black super fridge, and its very well built comments about tacky parts above is untrue, sounds like the dispenser handle has been mishandled, specifically tells you in the manual not to pull it, we had an ice issue on our model and the enginerr came within 48 hours and resolved it that was 6 months ago and works great since.

Nosey much

What's your problem? I'm curious and it's his choice to respond or not

Didn't know after 6 months of owning this fridge freezer to push the leaver with your glass... that's how I must've broken it...

On a serious note, yeah the leaver is plastic crap that does break easily and pushing on it with a glass did break it, not pulling on it like you suggested.

Anyone interested in smart fridges?

Right in time

I ordered this over a week ago with Argos for £719. The price dropped to £669 within a couple of days. I called Argos and they had no problem refunding me the £50 difference. I was supposed to get notification of delivery last Friday. It's Tuesday now and I still haven't heard anything. I'll ask to cancel the order if they can't match this. Thanks op. Heat added.

Argos not budging on the £669 so I've cancelled and ordered this through ao.com. Thanks again @pshemek

Ditto to that. This is my first purchase from ao.com. Do they do this every time? Guy was pleasant enough but knew he was after something. There's nice, then there's too nice. Proceeded to go on with scare mongering that if kids break the door or shelves etc etc this will all be covered for just £1.73 per week. That's almost £90 a year so think I'll take my chances. I will specifically request that they don't call me about this again. I understand they're trying to make commission etc but I have absolutely no interested in this whatsoever. Not unless it was £20 a year or something but that'll never happen.
