They still are and them some for the higher end kit.

Id rather go for the LG 42PC1DV than this for £548 delivered, plus it has HDCP via its HDMI socket.

I have ordered one of them anyway. At this price you cant go wrong. It is only for my bedroom as I have got a 42" HD ready Sony one in my livingroom.

Can someone correct me if I'm wrong but isn't 480 lines not even enough to display a pal signal at the correct resolution - it may be natively widescreen but would this tv downscale standard def tv?

Does this mean it is not worth the money then?

the price has been reduced to £479.96. has got some really good reviews

Are the reviews correct in saying this only does 480i max, no 480p ???

if 17 people have given it 5 out of 5 then this must be a good tele
