Firstly, credit to trending1950 who alerted me to this item at Ao.com on another listing.

Hisense curved 4k UHD K720 TV with full array local dimming (better blacks - possible HDR support) Quad core processor, UHD Upscaling, HEVC (H.265), Local Dimming, 3D Digital Comb Filter & MEMC for £698

2 year warranty as standard with hisense and can make longer with them.

even better, until the end of play today use code BOXING50 for £50 off!!

also 1% quidco - with the code!

The 65" is 999 at the moment on an amazon deal (different thread) and red hot!

I have bought this, have the k321 50" which has showed me hisense are for real, could not resist this!

these are staggering price for FLAD would love to know how they compare to a high end brand considering they are a third of the price

I have the K321 50" and it is exceptional, even my wife commented on how much better it is on HD/UHD than what it replaced (and that cost twice as much, a sony X85 series) and the K321 is the entry level model, this one is higher end
The Hisense website says no DLNA. Is that correct?

I'm sorry, not something I know anything about!
Ordered the KD-55X8005C from Amazon on a lightning deal yesterday for £599 (see elsewhere in HUKD). I know this is a better TV on pen and paper, but comments from existing owners would be most welcome.

Also, how is the motion handling? Not interested in gaming (input lag not a problem for me) but sports and fast moving actions.

the code has just worked for me! I really don't know whether to go for this or the LG 49" 4k 3d that's currently on offer at currys for £629

I have had both - the sony wins for SD stuff (just) but hisense beats it in every other way, plus no dodgy android OS!

Thanks for that. I rarely if ever watch SD content. How would you rate the HD upscale capabilities between the two models?

both good - the sony is a great panel (awful software though - really..) but I'd choose the hisense all day long. Honest answer. plus it comes with a 2 year warranty

Discount code worked for me. I'm sending back a Sony 49" 8307 that suffered awful light bleed in all corners and vertical banding on sports. The light bleed was the worse thing and I am hoping this FLAD display wont have that.

How are AO for customer service, anyone had to return anything?

I have never buy any TV from AO. But most of appliances I used are bought from AO. Fantastic customer service. Delivery service also excellent. They and you in the early morning and let me know what time they will come and call me again 15 mins before arriving. I highly recommend AO
Ordered the Sony 55" yesterday from Amazon Lightning deal. Really tempted to cancel the order and get this one.... But really not sure how reliable Hisense is...

On the same boat as you are. The Sony (apart from Android) technically is an inferior TV spec wise. But would you want a Hisense? On top its curved
Ordered good deal for me added heat thanks
Ordered heat added and got £11 ish back from TCB delivery tomorrow

Not really a fan of curve screen, but don't mind to have it if don't need to pay for extra for it. I don't really mind about the specs too much either as long as a TV that is 4K and reliable, preferably with longer warranty period. Since most of the time I am just using to watch movie only.
Was seriously tempted by this, but really wanted passive 3d in the specs. Not bothered by the curved screen either, all the ones ive seen have a fair amount of screen glare. Hisense seem a great new alternative to the usual top players.

Silly question I'm sure, but what is FLAD?
I ordered the Sony 55 inch lightening deal yesterday but have cancelled and ordered this. I like curved screens and the spec looks good. Thanks to OP for the heads up.
so tempted by this, nothing really wrong with my 8yr old Samsung 40inch TV, but would love an upgrade to a larger smart TV. can't believe the price of this.....
Can anyone recommend a wall mount? Thanks

Can anyone recommend a wall mount? Thanks

As tempted as I was to say "I recommend getting a wall mount," I can't, because I don't. Curved TV's look weird on walls. Ever noticed that in your local Curry's they show them on their stand as part of a display instead of wall mounted like all the others?

That said, if you really want to then wouldn't any old VESA 400 mount do? The TV is listed as 22.5Kg without the stand attached oO so make sure you get one (and fixings) that are strong enough.

edit: A bit of Googling and some curved TV's don't look too bad on a wall - not for me though. Oh, and spot the mistake here...

FALD, rather than FLAD.
what makes you think it's full array local dimming?
their website only mentions local dimming. so most likely edge lit leds with local dimming than FALD.

It's FALD from what I can tell, this thread is great

Never herd of make, take it that its Chinese.
Got mine today and its superb. So pleased, paid less than £660 which is absurd for a screen like this. Absolutely blows the socks off of the Sony X85 series in all ways in my opinion, best black's I have seen since my panny plasma

Don't suppose you've tried it for gaming / input lag by any chance?

There's a bit of confusion on the owners thread and no posted specs.
