Same price on richer sounds and better warranty of 6 years.
Word of warning with AO. Be VERY sure the TV you order isn't prone to the usual issue that can be common on LED TVs or just hope you get a perfect set.

AO will try anything to not exchange or refund without an engineer visit from the manufacturer.

It's definitely not Amazon, which is fair enough if the price saving is worth the risk, if not, then think hard.

This seems expensive for 43" especially with BF around the corner

Which? have been very scathing about some of AO's price claims and overall methods of operation. Not so much on TVs, more on the white electrical goods side of the business.

I’ve been so so disappointed with my Hisense tv . The Pixelation on night time filmed programmes is very noticeable
£200 Via eBay with the 20% off code

I bought the 7500 model of this for both my kids, virtually the same except they have Bluetooth. They're great TVs

How do they circumvent consumer legislation. Just send it back within 14 days. We sent a tv back earlier this year because we didn’t like it. No issues whatsoever from AO accepting the return. Sounds like you had a bad experience.
This seems to be the new 'premium' brand in the UK.
I bought the 7300 model for £225 last week and it's going back to Argos.

- Sometimes it won't switch between the apps and I need to switch it off and back on. Twice I had to unplug it from the wall to fix it, which lost all picture profile settings for all inputs, had to apply each again (more of it later)

- Youtube audio playback appars to be broken, it often changes the sound profile mid-video, so all of a sudden it will sound like some echo effect was applied. The same videos sound normal in my headphones and speakers when played on my desktop and laptop

- Amazon Prime Video app doesn't support wireless keyboard, others do

- Last night after using games console in the HDMI3 input I launched the Netflix app to watch a movie, but the TV kept switching back to the HDMI input and displaying NO SIGNAL message. I had to unplug it from the wall to reboot again to fix it and again apply all picture profile settings.

- Picture profiles - dark scenes on the the "Standard" and "Dynamic" profiles look terrible. Dark tones appear artificially boosted so scenes in shadows are blocky with visible pixelated banding. This can be mitigated by switching to one of the "Cinema" profiles but those have warmer colours by default. I customised the settings for them, but due to the frequent freezing issue I lose all configuration each time I need to unplug the power.

- The power lead is extremely short and can't be replaced, so it's not very suitable for wall mounting as it barely reaches the floor where my power extension sits.

I'm always tempted by a Hisense but hear enough to put me off. I'd rather spend extra for LG, Samsung or Phillips possibly.

Wrong. If you sign up for the VIP club you get the 6 year warranty when buying online.

Bought two TVs in the last year from RS and both clearly state the 6 year warranty on the receipt.
Anyone own this TV and can comment on if it's any good?

Link ? Please
I have a HiSense purchased from A.O. about a year ago. Their (A.O.'s) support can be compared to Trotters Independent Traders on a night after a big rave up at the Nag's Head.

Not used John Lewis for my HiSense but from previous purchases their free TV extra cover is the *very* best I have ever experienced. I expect that JL CS would develop a "Memory" of common problems. There was no indication of a memory with AO.

I won't vote heat wise as I am pre-disgruntled with them.

What is this about? "Be VERY sure the TV you order isn't prone to the usual issue that can be common on LED TVs"? I'm a noob in this area. Thanks.

That's probably because they don't give them back handers for a good review. Wouldn't trust their reviews, from talking to a person with first hand experience.
These Hisense are such good value for money..

A had the 65" from Costco that I sent back. In addition to what you'd experienced on yours, this also had constant interference (hissing/chirping) from the built in speakers. Made watching it of a night impossible.

The panel never sat flush with the bezel at the bottom and the LEDs were visible through the gap. Didn't have a negative effect that I could see but a build up of dust wouldn't have been good.

First and last time I try a Hisense.

What did you get as a replacement? I'm not extremely fussy, I only need one to watch something on netflix or amazon maybe twice a week, don't have any live tv at home. But when we sit down to have a movie night I'd rather not have to go through all this hassle again.

I'm still looking. For £500 it would've been a bargain if it didn't have so many things wrong with it. Not being able to disable HDR was ridiculous as well. It made some Netflix shows so dark that they were unwatchable! Luckily I've got a 4K fire stick so could disable HDR on that.

I'm on the lookout for a decent Samsung, LG or Panasonic. Not cheaping out again.

This sounds like an input issue or a settings issue, if you're using any motion or sharpening settings try getting rid of those. Check with a different connection cable after that.

I don't think so, who are you anyway to tell me to say that?

The person clearly said the warranty wasn't available online (whether they meant that or not, that's the way it reads), read it again before opening your mouth and letting your belly rumble... I made a factual point regarding the status of the warranty on TV's from Richer Sounds.

Just another dude. You can learn from anyone not just your parents or teachers.

That may not have been your intention but the "Wrong" hit me as unnecessarily abrupt. Maybe in future think about the way you come across, especially over text. It may cloud what was otherwise some valid info. Just my two cents. Do with it what you will.

No bother, I saw that, sorry if I "offended" you, I just didn't want others to misunderstand about the excellent 6 yr warranty RS offer - jeezo, some folks will jump on anything (see above).
Unsure why this has so much heat.. the 7500 is around this price and has quite a few additions and improvements.
Bought this tv from argos a few weeks ago same price. Broke the optical connection (my fault), but still works with the addition of a bit of chewing gum on the plug to get it to remain in place. I have found that the hdmi ports keep losing signal. Never had this problem on another tv. This happens regularly with a roku box and an android box. Replacement cable fixed the issue for a while, but now the signal drops out intermittently. Weird. Picture is good but found it quite difficult to get the red to display correctly. In F1 the Ferraris look a bit pink.

The 7500 model has far a more advanced video engine as well, including the Dolby Vision HDR standard which now seems to be edging out the others. I'd pay the extra just for Dolby Vision.
