Sorry for bothering but how do you get to know the response time? How much is for 7500? I saw a deal floating around but I am sure its expired.

From memory and research .. the 7500 has been this price a couple of times and I'd hold out for it again at JL.

Not the best for gaming even in game mode which supposedly reduces lag, do yourself a favour and get a monitor you will never look back.

Not really. It's a cheap brand and you get a cheap result. Put this TV next to any premium brand, or even midrange TV and the difference is night and day.

These TVs generally have washed out colours and because of the 8 bit panels the colour is not actually great in either case.
I am wondering why Samsung Tvs are not yet under BF deals? I believe Samsung TVs are great for gaming? Thanks

This is a reasonable TV at a very keen price. It could be a great option for a bedroom for late-night viewing duties. Input lag is low enough and it comes with plenty of catch up tv options... Oh and it's a £249 TV end of the day. You can't expect amazing results compared to a Samsung.

I was led to believe console gaming itself (with a Bluetooth controller) generated its own lag more than this TV, so 50ms on this model is a mute point.

It's all a factor. The input latency stacks so a TV with latency issues plus the generic issues that come from wireless signal transmission latency gets effectively compounded to create a worse scenario in both cases.

Do you mean the Samsung 7300 or Hisense 7300?
I am looking at LG UM7400PLB models - they look tempting for the discounted price. Not sure should I go for LG or Samsung assuming they come at similar price.

What a load of tosh. I purchased the 55inch version of this rv a couple of weeks ago and I have to admit I am highly impressed. The picture and sound quality is awesome. I've always had Samsung or LG tvs in the past and this TV is just perfect. Would highly recommend!

Having seen the latest reviews I'm going for an LG - and I'm speaking as a Samsung owner. Hisense make 'no sense' to me the way prices are falling on superior LG's and Samsung's.

Lol. So you think because you think it's okay that from a technical standpoint somehow it's fine? It's a cheap TV built on weak tech. If you were used to LG and Samsung the picture on your eyes should be an atrocity. My dads got one of these and it's just embarrassingly bad. Would be fine if you know absolutely nothing about image quality and are 70 years old though.

I think the best budget tv for gaming is Samsung RU7100/RU7020 with crazy low input lag.

To be fair, picture quality on the cheaper LG's (the ones around this price) is equally as bad. Samsung is easily better though.

I get the feeling you need to get your eyes tested.

You're just a troll. Get off your high horse. I'm giving my personal opinion as i have this tv!
Bet you're the idiot type that pays £1k plus for a TV when it first comes out just so you can show off and say 'Yo everybody look at me!'

for a bedroom to watch you tube and play xbox, would this be ok or would something like a Samsung UE43RU7020 43" @ £329 be better? im trying to keep the price down as low as poss without buying tat and 43 is the biggest it could be too
its all so confusing with tvs these days

From a technical standpoint sure the TV would be fine. So would one of those crappy Technika tvs that Tesco frequently sell for £150.

Depends if image quality is important to you. If you're playing 4K on the Xbox and you want to spend a long time in front of it then I would avoid cheap brands like Hisense and Hitachi and stick to the big players.
If image quality is not important and you don't care how washed out the colours are, or how bad the response time is then it would make sense for you to pick up Chinese cheap like this.

Yeah of course. The samsung 43inch 7020 model is available pretty much everywhere for £329 right now.

It's available at Richer sounds for the same price with a 6 year warranty or if you want something a bit more accessible I believe Currys and Argos both have it at £329.

Its decent. I've got the newer model and it's amazing. My girlfriend bought a cheap Hisense 43 inch TV because she was trying to save money and the 2 are not even in the same league despite the £100 separation between the 2.

Samsung's colours are so much better in the mid range than any other brand.

I have a Sonos Beam that uses HDMI-ARC -- can I assume this doesn't have it if I don't see it on the specs, or is basically all new HDMI HDMI-ARC...

From what I understand the ARC bit let's Sonos/Alexa control the Telly...

Ta!
