Experience the stunningly sharp 4K HDR picture of Hisense's N5700. Hyper-detailed 4K resolution combines with colour and contrast expanding HDR for a beautifully lifelike picture. The quad-core smart platform opens up a world of online apps and streaming services, while built-in Freeview HD offers all your favourite channels, with the Freeview Play catch-up service available soon. This is the complete entertainment package, with awesome picture quality.

4K Ultra High Definition
To respond to screens getting bigger, brands have packed their screens with more pixels. This 43-inch screen has four times the number of pixels than 1080p HD TVs, delivering stunning realism, natural motion and incredible detail. Experience this high-spec picture across a range of broadcasts, movies, sports and more thanks to 4K upscaling. As it converts lower resolution content to near-4K quality, anything you watch on the big screen will be truly extraordinary. Upscaling is a process through which a lower resolution signal or data source is displayed at a higher resolution. The upscaling process interpolates additional pixels from the source data, and produces a clearer picture on your 4K screen than a non-upscaled image.

High Dynamic Range
Forays into colour-boosting High Dynamic Range (HDR) have begun, and Hisense have followed suit. With its 8-bit+FRC panel, this set can show over a billion individual colours to deepen your view and shows shades you’ve never seen in home entertainment before. Colour, contrast, and brightness are all expanded for a richer, deeper picture that's closer to real life. Play beautiful HDR content on your N5700, experiencing the next era of television, and future proof your home entertainment set-up as HDR becomes standard.

Sensational Smart Platform
This set’s Hisense Smart platform is run by a rapid quad-core processor, so you’ll browse seamlessly. Do anything from streaming 4K shows on Netflix and Amazon, keep up with the weather on Accuweather or play clips on YouTube. Other available apps include Wuaki.tv, Plex, Facebook and Twitter.*

Freeview Play
Combining catch-up TV, on-demand services and live TV channels, watching what you want, when you want, is now easier than ever. It’s free from subscription and is compatible with existing broadband services too. Services such as BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4oD and Demand 5 are also available without having to open specific applications. This will give effortless scroll back so you never miss a second of your favourite shows.

Damn it...if it was the 49" I would have bitten

Agreed, if this was a completely different TV for less money, I'd have bitten too.

What are peoples experience with this when it comes to gaming?
How good is this TV? Is it "true 4K" with real HDR support?

I am not very knowledgeable about TVs unfortunately.
However @EndlessWaves seems to be something of a subject matter expert.

There are virtually no reviews of this from any of the respected sites.
It's a VA panel if that helps.

Bear in mind, you shouldn't expect anything above average at this price point though (sub £300 with the discount)

Sold out anyway.
Got this during the storming Amazon deal (£279).

For my Neanderthal needs, it's perfect!...great deal and heated up....if you can still get it....
is the world cup actually going to be available in 4k?
Voted hot . No need to buy Full HD as 4K like this one has similar price
When you click the link, it now says "zero available". Good price for that, well done to those who grabbed it.
I got this from argos during the eBay deal and this TV seems To Have noticeable light blooming lines Down the screen... Annoying

She's back and slating 1080p on 4k deals now. A new slant on her usual copy pasted comments on HD deals.
She ? I thought Sam was a man

Unless the UK boycotts it altogether
Excellent TV for the price.
out of stock
Why do you think it is this cheap?. I'll tell you. Hisense are a cheap brand and while that in itself is no bad thing, the result is that the performance is poor. Nowhere in that write up of the specs does it mention the screen refresh rate frequency! (a number should be mentioned in Hertz). That sets off massive alarm bells for anyone who knows about televisions. The fact that it's missing is because it's most likely an embarrassingly low refresh rate, which causes horrible ghosting on fast moving images on the screen.
While this is obvious to AV enthusiasts, you would be surprised how many people are outright misled by these cheap TVs.

Ghosting examples:

(ghosting on the left)

(watch the ship mast)

It doesn't sound like a particularly good TV for issues like light-bleed either:

Anyone know where I can get good settings for the Hisense TV?
I've just bought the 65" version last week and mounted it on the wall today.
I've seen people mentioning different picture/sound settings but I don't know where to obtain them.
