FROM AO

We’ll email you the claim form after your delivery. Just fill it in and we’ll transfer the money directly to your account.
Weird size.
I got this telly from AO last year and it's worth pointing out that a) the picture is not very good nor are viewing angles and b) I never got the email from AO about claiming cachback (tho I should chase them).

If anyone has any suggestions re setting I'd like to hear them as I may be doing something wrong. Thanks.

Not as weird as 49" though is it.
Also No good for gaming with an input lag of around 50ms
Got a Hisense from AO last year. It's terrible. Would not buy another - spend a tiny bit more on something decent.

I agree, not a great Tv. Alot of image blur with fast panning, even when effects and after processing are turned off. Calibration does not make much difference. But I did like the size.

Returned to John Lewis after one week.
God, the thing I hate about the TV market atm is that all of the review sites appear to have been bought. The best place to get information is literally in these comment sections on HUKD. Sad times.

That doesnt mean much though. Its the model that matters within the range.

The bottom of the range LG might be poor, the top of the range LG OLED might be great, that both are LG made doesnt tell you enough information.
this tv has only got negative reviews in the comments section here. This never usually happens with Hisense, they usually get decent comments. Why is this one so poor?

I'm not sure but as someone said above it looks like finding unbiased online reviews for many things is getting harder these days. I looked again yesterday and there still are no meaningful reviews for this set. All I can say is that I am very disappointed with it and regret believing the general good feeling towards Hisense as a budget competitor and should have gone for a Samsung or even LG for not much more. That said, the 45inch size is perfect for my alcove and was a big reason for going for this set.
to all those against this TV - did you replace it for the same money with something vastly better?
Got it delivered today but really struggling to get ARC / HDMI control working with my Sony Str-dh820 amp.

Could be a deal breaker
