Hisense H45N5750 LED HDR 4K Ultra HD Smart TV, 45" with Freeview Play, Silver

Brilliant telly for the money. I bit at £379 and this has went down today (John Lewis refunded the difference straight away). 43" was too small and 49" too big so they came up with a 45". Meant to be a darn sight better than the equivalent LG and with John Lewis's 5 year guarantee.

Experience the stunningly sharp 4K HDR picture of Hisense's N5750. Hyper-detailed 4K resolution combines with colour and contrast expanding HDR for a beautifully lifelike picture. The quad-core smart platform opens up a world of online apps and streaming services, while built-in Freeview HD offers all your favourite channels, with the Freeview Play catch-up service available soon. This is the complete entertainment package, with awesome picture quality

Very nice indeed @Derek_McKay , thanks for posting and welcome to HUKD
Great catch. Got 2x49's at home. Brilliant TV's. Highy recommeneded
Decent TVs but beware of firmware updates with Hisense. Customer service is slow and the operating system is frustrating. PQ is very good for the money however.

Probably not. Most electronics fail in year one. Two failure reasons, burn in and burn out.

But to be fair £12 is diddly squat so why not

Edit: and in our current tech throw away society how many people will keep this for six years? By 2024 we could be on holo tv

Haha holo TV, love that!
Or 4DX
Can't find any reviews for this tv.
Does anyone have it? What's it like?
Thanks
Two of these in the family, great for the money, fantastic picture quality when calibrated a bit.
Whats the difference between this and the N5700???
Does anybody know what is the width between the two stands? I'm worried that it won't fit on the existing TV stand we have. Thanks

No idea but if I had to take a guess I would say the 5700 is black and the 5750 is Silver.

Think its 82cm
MS response time? Game mode?
How come this is even wider than the 49 inch one?
If I've got a standard Xbox one and PS4 will they still look better on this?

I bought one(N5700) six months ago. Everything was fine until about a month ago. It started to switch itself off, sometimes after one hour, sometimes five times in five minutes. Send it for repair and they said that they couldn't find a fault so I got it back after a week. It was working fine for about five days and same thing started to happen again. Now I'm gonna get it back on Monday and I'll see, hopefully it will be fine, but if it starts to live its own life again I'll be requesting a refund or replacement. Both times the customer service was great and I was happy with the TV until a month ago. If I would be buying TV today I would go with Samsung, Sony or LG.

Ahh, thank you for the comment! I'm all about picture quality so if this is the best bang for buck at the moment compared to those brands I'd rather get this one! I've had my eye on the Panasonic TX50EX700B, but that's £135 more that could be spent towards a PS4 Pro. What do you think of the picture quality of your Hisense?

There's different sizes for the N5700 according to the website but the comparisons to the N5750 are just about the same 🤔

Thinking of getting this tv, can you provide a link to information on the calibration?

Every sub £500 LG is a bit crap and won't be a patch on this pic quality wise.

I would love to see some calibration info if possible! I have this telly and think the picture quality is terrible compared to the mid-range (non FHD) Sony it replaced.
Poor blacks, motion blur, 4K picture not much better...
I’m very disappointed and can’t recommend this set.
Good price, but a better tv than an LG I very much doubt that...

I'd always opt for JL over RS. Even at the expense of losing 1 year warranty!
Does this tick all the boxes on a x box one x ?
Can anyone confirm what iptv apps are on these? smart iptv/siptv is isn't it still and free as in beta???
From experience these are lovely televisions for the money, however I’ve found out that if you have a Virgin Tivo or v6 box then the remote for the virgin box is not programmable to hisense tellies. Still a good buy though. Check remote programmability before buying is my advice

Probably electrolytic capacitors on the power supply board. Many Hisense threads discussing this. If you are handy with a multimeter, this will cost you only a few quid for higher quality caps that will last a lifetime. Understand of course that you'd prefer to get it done under warranty.

There are none!
Its not Android OS so there's not much in the way of apps.
My Hisense stopped working after 18 months, make sure you have warranty you will need it.
OOS folks
