Further details over at the Hisense site with a video showing that it is HDR despite AO saying that it isn't (HDR available through USB playback at the moment but hopefully a firmware update will come along to change the HDMI 2.0 ports to 2.0a to support full HDR functionality over HDMI).

Of course it's cheap and yes the company is based in China.

Got a hisense smaller one for my rental property and they perform and look great for the price. Can't fault it. Although I bought it from richer sounds for the extended warranty.
My god this is a bargain
These any good for gaming?
Good tv this..... Cracking picture

Ground breaking analysis and insight.

Is it any better ?
I bought this from the Amazon Warehouse as new for £250 two days ago and I think that it is pretty good. What is annoying me at the moment is that whenever I switch on my PVR I lose the TV signal. Hopefully this is to do with the HDMI cable and I will see what happens when I replace it but everything else seems pretty cool to me.

I had it in back order from Amazon for £379 so I would have snapped it at this price.
Did I get ripped off for buying the 43" LG 4k tv from Prime day?

Not going near LG next time I buy.
Nothing but trouble with the one I have, and LG don't want to know/help.
Football is almost unwatchable on it, due to bleeding/banding.

Thought it might just be our TV, but was in John Lewis couple of weeks ago, and a 4K TV was running a demo and had the exact same problem.

Thinking hisense will be my next TV move - get great reviews and good bang for your buck. Now to "accidentally" let go of the Wii remote at my ageing Samsung

Yes it is - it was £335 when I bought it. It does the job for us at that price. It can vibrate a bit with certain frequencies of sound, but we fitted a stand which had the benefit of solving that for us. The smart features are ok too - I haven't seen many others to compare, but there's definitely room for improvement there. It's not an important feature for us anyway.

Great price! Heat from me thanks
Good price, poor quality tv if you are used to a Panasonic or Samsung. I bought one a few weeks from Amazon and sent it back as I wasn't happy with it. The blacks are shadowy and grainy even on hd programs the contrast/brightness goes up and down constantly save your money and get a better quality tv.

Both Richer Sounds and John Lewis seem happy they'll last outside their extended warranties, though that's no comment on the quality of the picture and sound of course.
I bought this tele last week from Amazon for £335 & free delivery. Great picture & YouTube is easy to use. GTA also looks amazing on this tele.

Phew, I was just about to buy this until I read your comment, thanks for the solid advice
Got a 50" hisense 4k from Amazon warehouse for £288 recently.

It has a fantastic picture, I find myself staring in amazement at the detail that it has compared to my old tv (A very nice 47" 1080p philips)

Hisense is definitely a brand worth considering

Well I can't fault the 43" version. Not sure what your on about with contrast /brightness going up and down. I have found it does need a bit of tweaking to get the best picture, but once done it's great. Viewing angles aren't the best I've found.
