The Buy Now Pay Later coupon MMLTX is not valid

If it's not working then your account isn't eligable for bnpl as that's also based on your credit status.
Well thats a bit of a joke, just applied for a sainsburys credit card and was given a 10k credit line, really dislike Very

The Buy Now Pay Later coupon MMLTX is not valid

I just used it it is valid....just add the code without adding BNPL12 and if the code works it will add the BNPL automatically so you know its worked.

Nope doesn't work at all for me, ah well no telly for me, no customer for Very.
I've added code however doesn't show 50quid credit anywhere.... wanna make sure its on there
Ok spoke to them, credit is added after 49 days because you can change the agreement.
Worked for me! Excellent. Albeit, I too found the £50 code hadn't been applied to my account. But before I could ring them, they rang me for security checks to confirm setting up my new account, thuis saving me a call inwards.
They were therefore able to put me over to Customer Services, who asked me the code (MMLTX), and applied the £50 credit to my account. They too said this might not appear straight way etc due to Distance Selling time/cooling off periods etc.
All in all, a great deal - HiSense, whilst perhaps not your top-of-line Sony Bravias etc, is getting a better reputation all the time for their TVs and panels used...
After an hour on the phone with multiple lies told, I find out I am not eligible for the offer, as I haven't shopped with Very in the last six months.

In a way I'm please I didn't part with any money with this awful company.
Stay clear

This company is 'very' dodgy... Order somewhere else

Seems a good price although i'm not sure how long the warranty is, probably 1 or 2 years max?

You can get the same TV from richersounds for £400 which includes 6 years warranty. Maybe £10 discount for joining the free VIP club.

They are only an awful company because you didnt get what you want. Very may say your an awful customer!
Hi Guys
Got to agree that this MMLTX code being used as a con. Let me first state clearly, my credit rating is 999 out of 999 and I was instantly passed for £1000 credit... This credit agreement offered me 12 months BNPL option. Yet when I went to buy TV and put MMTLX code in, I was only offered 3 months credit, thus denying me £50 off/credit offer. I suspect this is because I was a new customer and got 10% discount code HOWEVER both codes are DUPPOSED to stack on this item according to customer services. Good luck if you get it, but in my eyes, it's a con and false advertising.

Very is an awful company cause they take forever to answer their calls and when they answer they don’t know what they are talking about and then literally hang up the call on u. They are awful cause their advertised codes and prices don’t work or are a scam to lure people into credit agreements they are awful cause the bills come out wrong
Have I forgot anything
Oh yes u ask for a call back but no one calls u back and when u email their customer complains email u get an auto response saying call customer services the very people who took 25 mins to answer the call but then got bored and hung up on u.
Do u not think their customer services are bad then ?
This is a quote about the bnpl. I’m struggling to understand it.

when do i I have to pay off the tv before I get charged interest? It’s not clear
####### UPDATE ######
Since my previous rant above, I have now secured this TV for £298.98
First of all, tried reordering today and automatically got the 12 months BNPL option but MMLTX code simply didnt work at all.
Rang up customer services and got speaking to Lauren, I explained that above code wasn't applied last night cos BNPL wasn't offered, which I thought was a complete con. In total fairness, she said she would try to get it added for me and after 5 mins, rang back to confirm LXJPT code applied (10% off new customer £341.99) MMLTX code applied as£50paid off my account £291.99 and then £6.99 delivery = Balance to pay £298.98.
Needless to say, no more complaints from me lol!
Hope this might help someone else today....
Finn
Just did exactly the same as Finn. Cheers for the post! As a heads up the £50 gets credited to account on 7th June so I got customer services to email me to confirm
I’ve just went ahead aswell. How long did it take for the order to confirm for folk

Hi Cribert

You should have gone through customer services to be sure. MMLTX code wasn't working at all earlier ( maybe fixed now ) so no mention of any £50 credit when order placed. I was very fortunate in that, customer service adviser Lauren did all work at her end... My £50 credit was instantly taken off my balance...
Def worth a call and if they will do same. Good luck...
Finn
Ordered. £300 with credit back on the 8th of June.

Credit contract law requires comprehension of the offer!
Received mine today and the screen is damaged. Completely gutted and customer services are difficult to deal with. I think I’ve sorted a return and new tv but I’m not hopeful this will run smoothly now. Wish I’d opened the box when they delivered it and rejected it at that point
Hi. I'm a bit torn between this tv and the lg49630v for £399 from Amazon. Can any recommend which one is better? Thanks
Luckily mines fine. Picture out of the box is questionable but a hours of calibrating later I’m happy. I’ll post the settings for Xbox one s (ticks every box in display compatibility) and I need to do it for watching films next using thx
