Feel free to.

As is this TV!
Deciding you're too good for a TV less than £3000 of course makes all <£3k TVs low end and the deals bad ones...
Apparently not cold I do hope you voted your own deal at the same price cold ? tutt tutt tutt hotukdeals.com/dea…697
So not that price now then! And time travel needed to get that price, oh ok then
With potential cashback it's £30 cheaper and ao price matched at £240 so I stick by the vote 😁
That's insanity, I'd spend £1k max.
The one exception is that the Plex client is Opera TV based and seems to want to transcode anything 1080p or above. But at this price you could spend £50 on a Roku stick, which solves that problem and is still cheaper than pretty much all other TVs.
The other deal I posted was £12 cheaper than yours yesterday as you know and acknowledged, and there was no time travel needed either so strange remarks to make.

I think you’ll find 4K is better lol
You’re in luck! I just happen to have a Hisense H50AE6100UK 50-Inch 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart TV with Freeview Play, reduced from £3999 to £3099. £900 reduction... one only.
I have one too but will let it go for £3000.01
Ex display. Low end.
Easy fix. I have the same TV. Go into setting Menu >> "Network" settings. Set both "Wake on Wireless Network" and "Wake on LAN" to off. Then you can live happily ever after
Done, I'll see if it works after a few days. If it does then you are a legend
And now it isn't
Thank you! I have the 42" of this and this was driving us crazy.
If you press the menu (three lines) button while playing back the recording; there is an option for Zoom. By selecting the "Fill Screen" my recording become "watchable" though not quite displaying the correct aspect ratio.
From what I can see this option only appears to be present when playing a file from a local USB device.
<End Edit>
I will hold off commenting/voting on the price but...
When using the recording function of the TV. (i.e. To a USB drive) any recording of a widescreen show plays back in a 4:3 aspect ratio. Use of the aspect ratio feature does not have any effect playing back recorded media.
Just a word to the wise.
