If you're happy to wait no doubt John Lewis and or Richer Sounds will drop it to this price again with the benefit of a good warranty. The 7500 is often on offer as well and worth the extra.
The 55" 7500 is on with Hughes Direct for £326 using the eBay code.

AHH not to worry. Still need to work out how to get m'lady to agree to it - I sold the last one, a TOOSHiba - because someone wanted a bigger TV and I didn't like it's "HDR" and "4K"

I know really I should be hunting for ULED at the least with a 100/120hz refresh and Yadda Yadda.. I want that 3D without the glasses effect but to somehow avoid paying the premium of OLED :/
Awesome brand but am curious to know how long would you say they realistically last before they break ( any flat screen tv brand ) reckon 5 years is about the norm ?

My Samsung Series 6 LCD 46 Inch is still going strong at 10 years old now. Im desperate to get a smart 4k HDR TV but havent a clue what to buy if looking for longevity. I paid £800(ish) for the Samsung so have had my moneys worth just worried now that if I spend £300 on a cheaper TV it will need replacing a lot quicker. May have to wait for a deal with a reallyu long warranty before i take the plunge.

I don’t know anywhere that does over a 5 year warranty and my Panasonic plasma broke just after it which I didn’t want anymore anyway so was happy with that I don’t think anything is built to last anymore but am happy with this but you should probably stick with Samsung or LG ( think I saw an OLED now down to £800 )
I have owned a couple of Hisense tvs for a few years now with no issues with picture/lag

excellent value in my opinion
"Premium 4K UHD TV" ????
This is not a premium tv, it is not even mid range, lol.

Bought my Samsung LED ES8000 46" on 06/08/12 for around £1200. Still works with no issue today. Stuck a roku stick in it and boom now I get YouTube, amazon, Netflix. picked up a LG C9 65 inch early last year but I doubt it will last as long as the Samsung.

Every hisense has mixed reviews on here. I see a decent price and think I’ll give it a go. Then I see the comments and it’s put me off

If you don’t have the money for LG or Samsung get hisense . Simple
I'd buy this but need a model with a centre stand
Had this tv for 6months now- no problems and picture is decent
You won’t find a better tv for this price
47% on Which,
  • Terrible audio
  • Can't cope with motion
  • Slow menus

Great tv, have the 43" in son's bedroom and it's great all round. I'd much rather pay this price and replace it in a few years than hang on to a expensive tv for 10+

I would agree with slow menus but which review top end stuff you won’t find better for the price but must admit don’t know exact model I just mean the brand is awesome for the money

What’s that mean? I don’t rate Sony TVs very over priced and over rated. Samsung or LG are really the only options

Throw away society that’s why you’ll be lucky to get a 5yr warranty ! In the old days things had lifetime guarantees and failing that a tv repair shop! Shame really if we are supposed to be going green and protecting the environment instead of chucking out these flat screen monitors every few years

Suspect by then you’ll be looking for an OLED upgrade as they should have come down in price or maybe even bigger / 8k set anyway by then
