Shame the TV's terrible

“Terrible” is subjective. Judging by the customer reviews on various sites (Argos, John Lewis, Amazon, Currys, AO...), people are generally happy with it. I seriously doubt anyone paying £300 for a 50in TV knows the first thing about processors or refresh rates. And ultimately, you get what you pay for.

Might want to remove the “+£150 off” part. Reads like it’s £389 + £90 on top for the PS4 instead of £389 all in.
This is a great offer

I paid £370 total for my 50" Panasonic 3D EX750B.

I think I got more than what I paid for and know about refresh rates.

Moot comment. Good tarring.

Any better TV in it's price range?

Any better TV in it's price range?

Not really, all in this price range have issues.

The B7100 is quite poor though, mine is significantly dimmer at full brightness than my Vestel Toshiba 50u2963db, and has much worse panel uniformity. The OS is a bit better on the Hisense though.
would this stack with the £10 sign up and a cashback site like quidco

Got the 7500 as well and it is hard work getting a good pic with sd. Family have said the pic seems to have got better lately so i wonder if there has been a firmware update as i set it up for them to autoupdate.

I think it's good value for money but i know alot of people want perfection, but for that you're looking at alot of money.
thanks OP...

Bought this deal, i needed a tv for a rental - went via quidco (has the voucher code so you still get 2.5% cash back), add the PS4 and as soon as it arrives i will sell it and it will reduce the cost of the TV...

£150 to £230 including ebay / paypal and postage fees so if it sells for £150, postage being £10 then it means you end up with a profit after all fees of £30.70
The Sony KD55XF9005BU £851 with PS4 https://w…798
Fake hdr no local dimming
Anyone know how long AO.com provide TV Warranty? I hope it's 5 years like Costco do

Standard manufacturer warranty so 2 years for this tv. AO have shocking customer reviews for repairs under warranty. I wouldn't buy anything from them.

Nearly all their good reviews are for how good the delivery service was but read between the lines to see what the after sales service is like.

reviewcentre.com/rev…r=1

Just pray this tv doesn't get a fault as hisense are also meant to be appalling for any warranty repairs.

I was impressed with my telly for the few months it worked but then it developed a fault. These things happen I was unlucky. What was really bad through was I waited 3 weeks until anything was going to be done about it. I gave up in the end and lugged it back to the shop. Hisense customer service is nonexistent.
