I would just get the cheapest samsung, lg or sony, hisense are just cheap …I would just get the cheapest samsung, lg or sony, hisense are just cheap rubbish, they dont last and have zero customer service. If you do buy one make sure to get a 5yr warranty as they all break after 18 months.

I have 3 Hisense TVs and not a single one has ever caused me issues picture quality is better than Samsung, LG etc at the same price point. Some of them even beat pricier "branded" TVs. My oldest Hisense is around 5-6 years old

AV forums and online reviews give these (and previous models) glowing reviews for the price point.
Something technical that I don't understand about panel tech and quality avforums.com/thr…70/
A 5 or 6 year warranty would be nice but I've not had any joy with RS or JL with this ebay offer.
Comes with a 2 year so if it breaks after 18 months you're laughing.

Smashing TV set for the price, which based primarily on the recommendation of AV forums, I purchased on Black Friday for about £330 IIRC, from JL with 5 or 6 year warranty. The smart functionality is great and quick, the image quality is very good. I've got no complaints at all thus far.

Would anywhere price match?
Blimey, I'm just waiting for JL to price match on the 55inch on their website but this fits better.
And the code drops the 55 to 335 (I think)

I've been waiting since before Black Friday ! It went out of stock and they said it might not be back then came back. I know if I bite now it'll drop in next few days

Me too.
Luckily I have a wife who easily gets bored of my interesting facts about reviews, bargains and warranties so she's just forced me to pull the trigger.

It's my money too. If it was ours I'd be sitting in a spa somewhere having a wretched time.
And we're all tight aren't we? That's why we're here.
Go on, you'll kick yourself when all the stock is gone.
If you don't get it I'll just keep messaging you about that time when I got an amazing bargain on HotUKDeals (and then quickly unsubscribed from hisense deals)

Well I've bitten the bullet so to speak and emailed JL

Would be interesting to know the outcome.
I emailed them but it does say no auction sites in the T&Cs.
Richer Sounds said it was down to individual store managers as the stock is only in certain stores.
Our local place said no because of the ebay voucher and the warranty comparison.

What’s the sound like, does it need a sound bar . Thanks

The sound is decent, much better than my previous Samsung TV, not as good as my sound bar. Does it need one? No. Will the sound from a sound bar be better? Obviously.

Not known anyone with hisense tellies have issues; in fact they’re pretty good value and punch well above their price

If not then Hughes currently have it at £379 on their actual website so I'll price match with that instead.

My Samsung failed about 2 weeks after my extended warranty ran out. Have 2 Sony's that I should have sent back as backlight was poor, one was actually replaced, they issued a recall for the sets everywhere but Europe. Have a lovely Toshiba that has dark areas appearing on the screen. Brand name means little. I have/had 3 Haan screens that never had any issue until they were really old, one Hisense, American model in USA, that has been fine. I did contact Hisense once for support, USA will be different, and it was fine. Toshiba support has been excellent, Sony was nearly non existent, Samsung fully outsourced. Buy based on spec, looks, and reviews, not brand.
Any owners confirm wether it has optical out. Read in a review it doesn't. But seen on spec at different stores that it does

Brilliant price, the 7500 isn't the bottom end of the range either

98% sure that it does. I'll double check when I get home (haven't yet connected it to my soundbar), but yeah, pretty much guaranteed.

I don't know anything about how good Hisenses smart stuff is but Samsung all the way if you want a slick UI for streaming solutions and smart device integration.

Never considered a Hisense. Just out of curiosity how would this compare to say a Samsung 7400? If anyone has any experience. Or is this more comparable to the 7020?
I have 3 Hisense TV’s and 1 Samsung. Everyone in the family think the Hisenses are better including me. Not had one issue with any of them. Smart interface is a lot slicker than the Samsung IMO
Fantastic price, thanks. Thinking about upgrading my 43" Hisense
