Sadly my experience of Hisense has been decent picture quality but terrible viewing angles and very glitchy in use.

Great feedback, thanks. I have a 5 year old Samsung which is really slow to use, but I would rather that than lose the wide viewing angles (useful when chasing kids round the living room whilst sort of watching the football).

The Phillips ambilight 55" TVs normally use ips panels which have good viewing angles. Some decent deals bin these at the minute.
What would be the best IPS tv for less than £600 or £700

Tks as well.
Got one of these for my daughter for christmas, wall mounted above a fireplace and the vertical viewing angles are excellent, some very slight colour shift at about 60degs off axis horizontally, but not excessively so.

I was most impressed by the smart TV system - it is quickest and easiest to use out of my xbox one s, bt youview box, LG smart TV and Phillips ambilight smart tv, by a significant margin. (cant remember the phillips and LG models, but theyre both about 1-2 years old)
I had to go for the 43" for £40 less because the wife said the 50" wouldn't look right, but imo it still fits fine

Many Tks.

The best 2 TVs in my opinion for under or aprox £600 are the Hisense 55ub8 or the Samsung nu8000..if you can find one in stock somewhere. Both have 120htz panels, are great for gaming & have good black levels & hdr for movies. M&s are doing the Hisense for £599, but with only 2 years warranty. I would also consider the Samsung ru8000. This is available for 519 online, and also has a 120htz panel.

IPS if you want to play panel lottery.
anybody deciding to get this TV. Do check out my video review. I cover gaming too especially input lag!

Wdym?

IPS panel TVs are awful. You are playing lottery literally until you get one with no light bleed or whitish/yellowish blobs. IPS have glow, makes black level poor.

Go for V

Viewing angles depends, If you have a room setup where people will be sitting either left/right side (like living room for example) then IPS is the way.

if room setup is tv directly in centre. You will be sitting straight. Then go VA panel.

The Hisense B75 series all sizes are VA panel. Check the video I posted above, I done a review of the tv
