going to be that person, but has been cheaper in the past...
Ordered one when it was 20% off.
1st one arrived with a broken screen.
2nd one got delivered today, but with no screws.
we will see a 20 percent code in the next few weeks.
Terrible brand - cheap for a reason.

What makes you say that? The two I have bought are great TVs. One high end and one medium range. They were both great out of the box but even better when you tweak the settings. The sound on the high end one is best I’ve heard for a slim tv so far.

Well I went through 3 sets, all had light bleed issues. The system is super laggy and slow, after an update it was basically unusable. Even Hisense gave instructions on how to roll it back. I make do now using an Amazon Fire box. The image quality is OK after tweaking settings (and turning off all the gimmicky 'features' that actually make it far worse, like dynamic contrast). This is a newer model, so maybe they've improved things but I'd honestly spend a little more on something decent.
I agree with turning off all the gimmicks. Haven’t seen a tv where those actually work. Also on the OS being slow, I have been using a 4K fire stick though so it hasn’t bothered me as much. Which model do you have out of interest. I’m happy with mine as I had a budget I wanted to spend and feel it was best in that budget bracket against bigger brands
Beware. My Hisense 58", purchased last May from Curry's, broke at the beginning off December. Their contractor eventually came last week but couldn't repair. Now they're saying parts aren't available and it can't be repaired. Good picture, good features but no good if it lasts less than a year.
