Ordered a 55 inch off the Costco website for £400 with a 5 year warranty. Due to arrive next week.

Doesn't Costco give a 5y warranty on all TVs? Hisense themselves provide a 2y manufacturer warranty.

I'm not sure to be honest. That'd be a bonus. It's out for delivery. I'm not a Costco member but still lets you order through the work scheme.

I think you'll get the 5y warranty. So far as I'm aware you don't need to be a member to have the warranty, but best confirm. Your employer probably has some kind of financial arrangement with them so you probably have member privileges.

Hi, I just checked and that deal is still active. Can you confirm the £400 price is inclusive of VAT, Costco prices are usually without the VAT? If not it's a stonking price for this TV, the cheapest in the UK with the extended guarantee - you should post it as a deal!!
Picked this up a few days ago at Costco for £360 and a 5 year warranty. Amazed at the picture quality. Was a hard decision moving away from Samsung, but no regrets.
39579497.jpgOffer was £359.99 including vat at Costco. The offer says it was running until 31/12/19 but might be worth seeing if the price is still valid.

Was posted Christmas day the H55U7BUK for £399.99 and it's still available at that price on costco
At 399.99 they are £100 cheaper than very, currys, AO and RS who are all 499.99
Anyone interested the U7BUK has local dimming, dolby, 2300 PCI, better speakers so better than the Hisense H7500, H7300, H6xxx's. Downsides to me look to be it's still 60hz so no 120hz and it's edge lit LED rather than direct LED. Obvs no Oled either but sounds like a great TV

The local dimming isn't proper local dimming though, it's only got 16 zones which is not enough to do anything. And as you say it's edge lit vs direct lit on the 7500 (which is also available for £399). It's a very close run choice for me.

You need the U8B for 120hz which is £600, so 50% more.
And if you're really going to spend £600 on the U8A you really should be thinking about the O8A at £800...
JL price matched this deal for me
Anyone know what this in 55 inch is like VS samsung ru7020/ru7100?
I was told on AV forum this is better than those in terms of picture quality, wider colour gamut etc this one is supposed to more equivalent to the RU7400.
