For reviews look for smaller size ie H50B7100UK ( 50" version.) quite a few on amazon mostly good but some complaining TV turned up broken etc so worth bearing that in mind if considering buying this TV

Also AO have knocked £20 off this just this morning and offer a £50 trade in on your old TV ao.com/pro…spx - no 5 year warranty though so not as good a deal imo if your not intending to trade in an old TV and I'm not sure of the full terms and conditions of that either especially if you intend to trade in a broken portable for example

Instore only. And do you still have to phone to check stock? I would have made so many purchases from richer sounds had I not given up phoning them only ro find no stock then not bothering after first few times of trying this archaic method
I had a hisense tv from AO last year... took 3 WEEKS before they would accept a return, it was totally dead, but they messed me about - wanting photos of it "not turning on" then I had to deal with the manufacturer.... I'd pay extra not to use them.

Picture any good on it ....4k carrots ? 3 HDMI onions ?
Iv got this model purchased last week, seem much better than the Toshiba one i had to send back because it had a lag using the app. so owning a previous 49" model Hisense, which i was really impressed by, i then decided to go for the 55", the app are smooth to run, 4k HDR10 feature do bring nice colour and viewing angle is also good, the 5year warranty is excellent also purchased their 5 year added care which i have had to use covers accidental damage..hence the changes in Tvs with kids.lol

also the ability to use amazon firestick with tv remote is a added bonus also!

Called to check if in stock near me. One left in all their stores, they said 10 more on the way next week.
HDR10+ is what you need.
Refresh rate 50Hz.... Should be 60 at the minimum.

Because you can get the spec in this price range.

Yes and TVs in this price range don't really benefit from HDR.

It might accept a hdr10+ signal, doesn't mean it is any good at displaying it.

Not really. Firstly this TV won't be able to do regular HDR justice anyway, and 2 no fecker supports it. I can't think of a single AV receiver that supports HDR10+ pass through, most major players like Disney, MS, Netflix etc are pushing Dolby Vision. Philips and their parent co who were batting for Samsung but have now introduced DV on their latest sets. Samsung on their own. HDR 10+ will be gone in next few years

I'd be interested to hear more about the DTS sound. How would you listen to 5 or 6 channels - I already have a old separate DTS audio receiver and speakers. Does Freeview Play broadcast in DTS?
Hi, just a quick question as I'm not very tech savvy, am I better offer ordering this TV or the 60 Inch LG one from Argos. Many thanks in advance

Hi, Difficult one to answer that because both are equally as good imo.
Advantage is the 5 year warranty with John Lewis but then again this TV is smaller then the Argos one so depends on what screen size you want.

Ironically i have a 60" LG model bought from JL earlier this year for £549 and it is a great TV.
But then again a close family member has a Hisense and the picture quality on it is i would say better then my LG and yet my TV has better specifications lol.

If you are a costco member worth looking at them too, you can pick up good offers instore and online and all there TVs are sold with a 5 year warranty.

For the warranty aspect places to look are john lewis, costco and richer sounds who get good reviews with trust pilot trustpilot.com/rev…com but i have never used them myself.

hope this helps
