Just need John Lewis to bring their price down to this now then I'm in
I've had the 7100 model which is the same as this but with a different stand and didn't like it. I bought the 7500 model instead which is a vast improvement. Worth the extra IMO

I believe this model was going for sub £300 last week so it's worth considering that.

Anyone have recommendations for a cheap, reliable 50" plus TV around the 300 mark (that isn't this after the negative feedback I've heard about this one, mind)?

I can pay you in sweet nothings

Looking for similar

I just do not get to watch as much these days so cant really justify forking out large splashes on a new set. Im asking for the impossible but a 65'' at around £300 would make me bite. i know theres like zero chance but heres hoping
wow seems alot of TV for the money. Whats the picture quality actually like compared to a 10 year old 1080 TV (Sony 32W5500) Wanna bigger TV but can justify sending a perfectly working TV to the tip

Tbh. the very TV set you are after is this
negative reviews probably from people with unrealistic expectations at this price point.

Please don’t take it to the tip! Someone would happily take it off your hands I bet for some money and if not for free, just bang it on fb marketplace or gumtree when you decide to get a new one

The quality of the TV is relative to the price - I don't mean that in a patronising way but you will find that a lot of the negative feedback you mention is because people are often not comparing apples with apples. There are some decent TV's around for the money, but you just can't expect top end performance from them - doesn't mean they aren't any good though.
It really depends what you want from a TV, but best advice would be to go for a better spec 2019 model at a reduced price rather than a 2020 model.
After 5 years the speakers on my Hisense, have finally died. I won't be buying this make again, as it didn't work with the sound bar either.

I know someone will say this 'sn't a real Panasonic' (its made by Vestel), but this one below is OK for the money-

ebay.co.uk/itm…bdf

Or for a few quid extra and a 5 year warranty included-

The issue with those though is due to the fact they are Vestels have a really poor OS. You need a firestick or similar so you really should factor that into the total price.

Can this TV be mounted on the wall (if you buy a mount of course)
This or the B700 50 inch with Dolby sound for £20 more?

What didn't you like/how was it a vast improvement? I'm tempted to get the 7500 model but wondering what extra I would get as it doesn't seem obvious from research
