Apart from being a 2020 model, how does this compare to say the H55U7B?
Had the 50" version of the 7300 for a few days and was disappointed by the colors. No matter what I tried it was a mess. Managed to set some settings and the video would look decent with movies on Netflix, Prime etc but live footage on dvb, sat or IPTV looked like crap. Had to take back and got a Philips which is great even with factory settings.
This Model number was reviewed by Which magazine in August 2019 so not sure why Amazon are saying it's a 2020 model

This, along with the B7100 (same TV different stand) are basic. They have dim panels with poor colour reproduction, bad viewing angles, and motion problems (judder, smearing).

For most people they do the job well enough, especially if priced well.

If you're after a Hisense I'd recommend ignoring the B7100/7300 and looking at the B7500 or higher models instead.

It's not a 2020 model. The B7300 was released around the same time as the U7B - which is a significantly better TV in every area.
Avoid hisense had 6100 model and took me nearly a year to get hisense to exchange my TV due to motion issues as they would let me do a exchange with AO who was great and getting it sorted for me.
Blimey, sounds like a Vestel would be a better option at this price point The Hitachi 58" model from Argos sounds cracking value.

Sorry you've had issues, but my hisense 50m3300 has been great for the last 3 years. Replaced with a 55u8B which is fantastic.
Certainly would have paid more to get the same quality with a more "premium" brand.
Got three different hisense televisions over the last three years and all have been excellent with no issues.

Really? Every listing I see says "2020".

This year's model is 'A', ie A7300. B is last year's.

'A' was also used for their 2018 TV's. Hisense model naming structure is quite odd.

Which model of Philips did you order? I have the 50" of this on order with Amazon, but hasn't been dispatched yet.

Its mainly for Xbox, then YouTube/Netflix

I got this one richersounds.com/philips-50pus6754.html
6y warranty and use code TV10 for extra £10 off
I'm more more than satisfied with the image/colour. Left everything as it came and chose Dolby vision night and for me it's perfect.
I thought Ambilight is a gimmick but now...I wouldn't watch a movie without.
If you can spare a few more £ you might what the 7000 series that has AndroidTV.
The 6754 main OS is a bit crap and lacks in apps.
Tried to use SS Iptv and at some point became unresponsive and had to unplug the TV to get out.
It was the only time that made this.
I use a firestick 4k and don't care about the TVs OS, just the display panel.
I read here and there that even on some high end Sony''s the AndroidTV is a bit sluggish.
I use an LG sound bar as well although the TV speakers are decent, but I disabled them.
I found the TV ro be quite smart, without any setting selection just by using the TV remote it actually knows to control my sound bar and the firestick, so if I can't find the firestick remote I can use the Phillips one.
I, for one am not sorry on buying it. 4K movie/tv show look perfect.
I haven't tried the TVs own apps for YouTube or Netflix, so can't tell you if they would act the same as SS IPTV app.

What’s the difference with this and the 7500?
