reasonably priced - probably wont find a better deal this side of black friday
That really is great.
Tempted. Think I want move to non smart TVs that get outdated and just use Amazon firestick and NowTV or Roku sticks
bought thanks!
50ms input lag with VA panel. I don't think this is a good pick for gamers.
Beware it has some issue with backlight uniformity, mine is pretty bad. It’s a decent set for the price otherwise.
State but (2020) Amazon site 399.00
The date has been taken off as I write !
When are amazon going to fall into line like john Lewis and richer sounds and offer a decent guarantee, great price though

Would this be covered in the 2 year warranty?

Don't think they will. First, they're so dominant in retail. Second, l don't think they're bothered to compete with richer and John Lewis. Third, electricals like TVs are probably not a big sector for them.

Yea mine went back because of this, it had two large pillars of light at either side that were really distracting.

Actually, Hisense appear to be pretty good with updates. Have a 55N5500 which is now almost 2y old and have received regular updates for the smart OS. YouTube, iPlayer, Prime Video, Netflix and Rakuten are all still working - I'm genuinely surprised as I paid something like £330 (another deal from here!) at the time. But as you say, the updates will stop at some point so always a good option to move to a Firestick or similar.
If you're planning to buy this TV and have kids who like Disney, do check if the app is now available on the Vidaa OS store - it's not available on my TV but that has the previous generation Vidaa 2.0 OS.

Are there any non smart 4K tvs?
Had the 50" delivered Saturday, £350, happy with it. £329 for the 55" is a steal.
How does this compare to the argos exclusive roku set? argos.co.uk/pro…517
You'll be lucky to get the tv delivered from amazon in one piece. I've had one delivered with a dent and cracked screen and looking at other tv reviews on amazon other people have too.
£439.99 now. Shame as I was going to recommend this to my daughter
