Blimey all you see on here lately is hisense telly deals

Good price though.
I cannot stress enough how utterly useless this tv is. I bought one other day from AO when the other hisense deal was on . Its being picked up tomorrow.

The sound is terrible its got no ommfp and sounds like you're listening to something thats had pillows put around it,
The UI and actual functions take ages to do anything, even swapping channel theres a really long delay.

but the absolute deal breaker is the motion blur , and extremely poor quality screen theres a distinct white glow all around the screen always., gaming is virtually impossible. Even watching homes under the hammer was terrible ( not my choice it came on when i was setting up the tv).

But if you really want one AO will price match hughesdirect with discount code.

You sure you got the 7500 and not the 7100?
Maccabix... Have a lesser model 7300 43" only being used as a monitor but the times using TV and Freeview play that over Wi-fi have seen no slowness and the sound is OK , it's a perfectly good TV. Sounds like yours may be faulty.

you cant really compare like for like with a different model, internals and screen size as larger screens show more faults .
I'm not knocking the brand though want to make that clear, AO are replacing the tv with the hisense U7B ( as they agreed to price match the price hughes had on ebay with the polar discount and some goodwill ).

I was only recounting my own experiences. although the sound issue has been mentioned in other reviews online and was expecting it to be a bit pants but not that bad.

Ah ok, I've just had a 43" 7500 model delivered this morning.

Not set it up yet but hopefully it'll be okay 🙏

and now i feel bad , hopefully it was more a the tv i got having issues thing then .
one thing i will say is soon as you get the tv set up with internet connection go into settings and download the updates it makes a huge difference , they do take a bit to install mind.

also bear in mind my main issues were gaming and fast moving motion on screen, that sort of thing is far more noticeable on larger screen sizes.

To give you a rough idea.. the final battle scene in endgame looked like i was viewing an impressionist paiting it was so blurred

No worries it's only a bedroom TV and I'm not really expecting anything to knock my socks off

So long as the picture is good and the sound is half decent oh and I can put my IPTV on it then that should be fine

If its not its going back

I was tempted until you mentioned the gaming issues! As funny as that sounds!

What did you expect for a 55" TV for under £400???

An incredibly I'll informed comment there
Odd to see that impression of the 7500. I've seen a number of very solid reviews on it.

I've got the 40" and I know mine doesn't have the motion enhancements (so I know it's not great), but I thought that the bigger ones were supposed to be much better.
I have the 50” B7500. Paid £309 and fantastic tv for the price. I know the HDR isn’t top of the range but it’s noticeable - shadow of the tomb raider on PS4 is a night and day difference in SDR and HDR. And games are fine in game mode, no issues whatsoever.
Regarding the sound, turn off all the sound enhancements in the options (bass boost, dialog clarity and surround sound), sorts out any sound issues.
Well in case anybody gives a hoot I've set it up and Im impressed with it.

Sound is good and picture is vibrant and clear.

Menu is easy to navigate so far so good.

Can't really grumble for the money - I'd recommend it

Ps using with a sky q mini box

the hdr is perfectly fine, gaming is not. I ntocided you mentioned a 3rd person game, playing a fps was torture between the motion blur, and really obvious input lag it made modern warfare unplayable.

I tried all the sound options when i set it up , it went from muffled with bass to just muffled and lacking depth.

I dunno maybe i got a dodgy tv but AO seemed pretty quick to offer to exchange and upgrade a replacement for my trouble as soon as i mentioned the issue.
mreriksen01/11/2019 18:15

Huh?

the tv was originally a lot more by your logic then it should have performed better when it cost more?
