Don't you think its somewhat grossly unfair to return a heavily used 4yr …Don't you think its somewhat grossly unfair to return a heavily used 4yr 11 month old tv????Nothing clever about that just morally UNACCEPTABLE!!!????

So if a company offers me a 5 year warranty and my telly breaks in those five years I'm morally obliged to just shrug?
Besides, "heavily used"? It's a TV not a builders van!

I'm being trolled here aren't I?
You all know that yesterday this TV was £53 cheaper via the widely publicised PAMPER14 discount right? (I’m not suggesting time machine activity, am just surprised it can get heat literally a day after being available for £326)

Morally unacceptable would be messing about with the product to ensure it breaks and you can get a refund or replacement.

Morally acceptable is the seller keeping to their warranty contract and either repairing, replacing or refunding you if the product breaks within the warranty period.

Quite easy that.

Decent Apur the 7500 is probably the sweet spot in terms of image quality and price.

Thank you @adamderak Yes I have seen your positive comments on discussion about this TV.... Great price for 5 year peace of mind
Confusing.

2 year or 6 year warranty?
Biggest gripe on this TV having read the Av Forums is a sound quality issue along with co-ordination of sound/graphics together with one running ahead of the other and not being able to balance them correctly.

Only issue iv had with that is when using a soundbar etc and I didn't find it difficult to compensate the delay via the system settings

It did yesterday too if you price matched with JL or RS
john lewis will price match Hughes, they did for me. had this tv about 6 months now, recommend it!
This is a good price for what you get, voted hot. I'd appreciate some advice tho.
This has slightly better specs compared to the 7100. Do any you chaps have an opinion on which would be better, the H55B7500UK or the R55B7120UK with Roku?
I have this TV, for the money it's really good, the sound sync issues are easily fixed via the timing adjustment available in the menu.

In 5 years time this tv will be worth nothing and OS will be obsolete anyway
It seems like a decent TV for the price in terms of picture quality, sound, and responsiveness in apps
Just remember the saying...'buying Hisense makes no sense'

So all the better to have a warranty so when it breaks at 4yrs and 11 months you get a new one?
Excellent TV for the money. Best for the price point in my opinion.

I can't adjust the sound delay when connected via Bluetooth. So I use optical.. Bit of a killer really as I want to use as few cables as possible... any ideas?

I honestly don't know what you are talking about.

1. You said these will no good long before 5 years

2. I'm pointing out that if it breaks before 5 years you'll get a new one. Why wouldn't you want it to be replaced if broken? I'm not suggesting you throw a bucket of water over it to speed up the process.

Why is it that when someone is telling us something we know is true, we put up the troll rug???
...for me, i would consider that I've had a fair good use from the tv and just not bother returning the tv so the company can keep the profits from that sale

Bully for you

If I'm buying a TV they promise will be fine for five years, I want it to work for five years.

Bit strange to be on Hot UK Deals if what you want is for companies to extract the maximum profit from their customers!

Have a good day, just make that when you're in Tescos you pay full price for any short date groceries.

For me.. if someone tells me "if it breaks within five years we'll sort it out for you" then you're darn tootin' I'd be looking for some resolve if it breaks.

In reality.. this isn't a lease deal. Of course you should just save £20 here and there and buy things with a year or two's warranty then if they break after a couple years you can burn more money

Jonh lewis gave me 5yr warranty?

The TV developed a fault? Engineer came out, took 1 look and said it needs replacing and left?

They said chose a tv upto £900, my bravia originally was £1000, they knocked off £100 for "Depreciation value"

They dont care, why do you?

Seek help, its ok, dont be scared

If anyone with this model (7500) could please do me a favour, can you confirm if you can pause live freeview TV? Assuming a USB drive is plugged in. Thanks
