I want free prawn crackers with it though.

good find op, heat added

Argos have it on for £529 with 12 months Buy Now, Pay Later if you have a Argos Card and don't pay interest as long as you pay it all off before the 12 months... Good option if you haven't got the spare cash laying around

Here's your order, #55! Sorry, our driver forgot your side dish of HDR functionality.

Bought this tv and the viewing angle is terrible, is the tv supposed to have a bad viewing angle or is it faulty? AO are saing i cant get a refund because its been taken out of the box and turned on.

Great. Just what I'm looking for after missing the previous deals for Hisense from last few weeks. Ordered!

It is interesting to see that on the specs on the Hisense site that it states:

Viewing Angle (H/V) N/A

Might be worth ringing them direct to see what they have to say about it.

That sounds like a complete load of nonsense from AO. Consumer rights being violated right there.
What if the tv was damaged in transit?
Keep at them if i was you.
My mate is looking for a 55" tv and these are reasonably good if you get the right picture settings.
Doesn't appear to be one setting fits all but the factory settings out of the box are terrible.

Is this firmware update guaranteed or just a rumour?

I rang Hisense myself and spoke to the tech dept who confirmed it and additionally stated that the panel was 10 bit.

Spend the extra and buy from RS ,far superior dealer and 6 years peace of mind.

My only concern with Hisense has been how quickly they drop support of updates. I'm owner of last years model (K321) and been waiting since March (they saidsaidw back in December they would release it in March) the update to support Youtube 4K. No news so far and people don't expect the fw release anymore.
In regards to the TV itself (and I'm asumming this is a step forward) I think it's brilliant. It does a fantastic upscaling even SD channels look good.

As great q dealer they are they get really funny about price matching when guarantee isn't 6 years. Almost feel like they slap on an extra 1yr to the 5 years currys give just so they don't have to match.

It took me 10 days for ao.com to agree I had a faulty tv (this model & make!!). If you read previous reviews on this tv when it was on offer via hotukdeals site you will see my reviews. It may help you get yours sorted quicker!! With ao you have to get Hisesnse to agree you have a faulty model & have a refund identity number before they offer you a refund or another tv to the same value. Good luck!!

This is going to be a problem with most smart TVs. Best to treat them as a dumb panel and use an android stb or such.

They will price match currys, if the price is without a discount code .

Best option is to save and pay cash for it. No need to go into debt for a TV.

I got the 50 inch one...better than my Samsung by a mile

Even if you do have the spare cash it's a good option. I always take interest free and just put the money I would have spent into savings.

Lots of tv for the money. I would pay the extra £60 from RS for the warranty

Same about concern around lack of firmware updates. Been waiting for 9 months now. Still no firmware update. Was promised one each month as it's being shipped the next month. But if never happened. So really blatant lies. Disappointing considering they are trying to make s move in the TV market but this kind of bad service and PR will not help them.

Distance selling Regs. Tell them yout want a refund or will go to Trying Standards.

Still holding off on these until the promised firmware update arrives!

but what samsung do you have?

I don't understand where people are getting the firmware information from. I have never seen anything even slightly officially confirming the firmware is coming. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Also, this or the M7000?

You don't.

You are updating the specification at which the existing ports work.

Do what I did and ring them to confirm.

hisense.co.uk/con…act

You initially get the usual type of press this and that button automated system before eventually getting put through to a human.

Tell them what you want to know, they will take your number and the tech team will ring you back within 24 hours.

Can the GET40 voucher be used on any TV?
