Seems like a decent deal, with manufacturer 2 year warranty. Great reviews on trusted reviews and avforums where it got their best buy award.

Best BF TV deal I've seen so far.

65 inch for 1029.99 too

Great TV for the money; I have the 65", very tempted to get this for the bedroom

I have this TV and the password is amazing,i though my Sony 55kdlw829 was brilliant, but this TV is considerably better. Now all I need is a greater selection of 4k broadcast material as it's thin on the ground just now.4k Blu-ray is incredible and at this price,it's a no brainer

Bought this earlier today. From what I've read the build quality is actually higher than the KS7000 and there is less light bleed. Amazing price.

this or the Samsung ue55ku6020?

Is it worth paying the extra £100 for the Richer Sounds 6 year warranty? Thanks

What apps are available for this (iPlayer, Netflix, Prime, NowTV, Plex)?

That's not saying much tbh, the KS7000 is a pretty poor 4kTV

If it breaks between 2 and 6 years old yes!

In 2 to 6 years though, put that £100 saving towards an even better and cheaper TV?

This is so tempting.

Even though this has a 10 bit panel it cannot process a 10 bit signal due to the t-con board Hisense use this has been confirmed by the manufacturer you can find the proof in the avforums thread link above and in the user discussion section.

Better than the sony on SD/720/1080?

cheers. have to say I'm pretty confused, finding it impossible to identify decent specs. I read this model can only achieve 400 nits brightness as opposed to the Samsung which is 1000 nits... is this correct and if so do you know what difference it makes?

brightness can affect HDR range

If it's any help, you won't get many decent 4k 'specs' on a £650 4KTV

Samsung UE55KU6020 £569 5yr warranty

I went with the hisense after looking at reviews.

Purchased from Richer Sounds, went in to the store, was shown the difference between 550nits on one set and 1000 on another and couldnt tell and these were tv's in there thousands.

After reading the AVForum reviews this one won it for me.

Paid £740 (a tenner was knocked off for new customer). Worth the £90 extra than amazons great price for the 6 year warranty just for peace of mind. Get it next Thursday as the shop was out of stock

I think they have all gone at that price. Showing £705 now 1 left.

I have this TV and the password is amazing

Thanks, your TV has now joined my evil botnet.

Will they get more stock at that price?
