Looks a good price for this 55 inch Hisense tv, beating previous deal for this by nearly £15 using code TV4K10 (not counting the Currys deal for obvious reasons ). If you ordered this within the last 7 days from AO - they will refund the difference.

Comes with a 2 year warranty and free delivery

Cannot tell people to avoid Hisense enough anymore. Having had a 50" Hisense for just over 2 years, it stopped working 3 months after the warranty finished. It would not come out of standby; after some googling it appears Hisense use cheap quality capacitors which tend to bulge or blow after ~ 2 years (the warranty period) The standby light was working but it is on a different circuit to the main TV hence not coming out of standby. From googling they have had this problem for many years and my TV from 2015 was no different.

Amazon took it back for a full refund, but I don't imagine other retailers being as helpful, especially after the warranty period. I was on the Hisense bandwagon for a long time ever since buying it, but as it turns out you really do get what you pay for!

Thanks, need a new one now

good deal, heat added but real deals wont be around for a couple of weeks yet, if you can hold off for the November price drops and lock in price match savings for what is it 28 days at John Lewis.

@Chanchi32 is this your second account?

Anyone having miracast issues on this? Can't find it via tvcast or local cast

This Tv keeps popping up, I think I’m destined for it. Having been stung by the Currys deal I’m gonna wait until Black Friday where I reckon this will go £400 or less.

Amazing.

You're absolutely right about AO. Just called them and asked them to refund the difference, as I bought this yesterday. Actually quite liking the company! Very helpful.

Thanks for posting buddy!

Saves me another tenner.

This happens on LG, Samsung, Philips and every other brand of television. You were just unlucky.

I can't tell you the amount of LG tvs I had to repair for similar issues. Along with a million and one other things. Same with every brand. They've all got their problems. Some people are lucky and never have an issue, others not so much.

Where is Panasonic ?

Considering they don't sell tvs in the US any more they're no where near the top 4 selling brands.

If i were to buy a new TV...i'm not, i would certainly consider Hisense, value, quality and spec. Excellent reviews on JL.

After comparing my hitachi 55 4k bought in feb to my new 55 4k hdr sony bravia i can see the differnce immensely.

Does this have HDR10 - to get full benefit from the Xbox One X

Similar boat. If you research you're soon find that supporting HDR and it really being noticeable is a different ball game! Think (close to, if not) doubling your budget :-(

Also having a ball ache finding a Good priced TV for the Xbox one X. At this rate might cancel my pre order till I can find a suitable TV.

Says it's no longer available

Well I've had 4 Panasonic TV's over the last 15 years & they're all still going, I have to end up giving them to family so I can get a new one
