Tempted by this, although I don't know whether to wait now as black Friday us so close.

That's a bargain, 55 is cheaper than the 43 and 49 models.

Yeah, I took the bite because after all it was what I was looking for (4k hdr, 55" under 500). Wifi is a bonus. Worse case scenario you can always (in theory) buy a better deal and send this back if it's unopened.

Oh, and it's Amazon, so customer support is a huge bonus.

You won't be disappointed, bought the 55" curved version last year and it's a great tv

Thanks I'm gonna order and set delivery date for DEC. If a better deal comes up I'll just cancel

Anyone able to say what the real difference is between this and the H55N6800?

Surely this won't go any cheaper on bf.

Im in the process of sending back the 43" model due to bad screen banding. Could be tempted by this deal though. Decisions, decisions.

I think its time I said bye bye to my 50inch Panasonic, had it for 11 years now, still works fine, but the picture quality of these Smart tvs is far superior....ordered this, thnx

On hisense website on black Friday deals it's say to watch out for this model, only 49inch tho might be all sizes. Hopefully the wait pays off.

Super tempting (esp. as I have a £40 amazon gift card to use). But seriously torn between the 5500 and the 5700. Seems like the 5700 actually has some Wide Colour Gamut, whereas the 5500 doesn't have any.

Is that difference worth it alone to snub the 5500?

It's ether get the 55" 5500 or the 49" 5700..

Is HiSense any good? I've always ignored their deals as I assumed they were a naff make like Polaroid.

Why would you "assume" that?
Yes they make very good and possibly even great TV's and have been doing so for a very long time.
I hope my assumptions about you are incorrect.

You can always use your local freecycle community

Same price at Tesco. Would rather take from my local UK Store than from Amazon

Well it was £100 cheaper last month....

Can anyone explain what the different reference number mean in hisense models? Currently have about 3 tabs open with different 50/49inch models open, all with varying prices and can't get my head round which is the most recent one (guessing it's the most expensive (embarrassed)) and what the numbers relate to.
What I mean is, like the LG references which relate to year made etc.

You can see full specs in comparison between n5500 and n5700 here:

But yeah, it's all very confusing.
