What’s gaming like on it mate, input lag etc. Also does the X recognise it has a Full 4K tv with all the green ticks?
Input lag is not a problem, around 26-36ms if I remember correctly. There's a game mode and you'll want to turn off all the usual manufacturer 'dynamic smoothing gubbins.

I've got the older model (last year's) and gaming on it is GREAT, no lag that I can feel at all... FPS, Driving, fighting... every game looks and plays great. Highly recommend it.
Great deal!!

Many swear words bounce around my brain at this. Oh well, will give my valuable custom to others that don't discriminate or penalise.

Yep, full green ticks. I had to change a setting to Enhanced (can't remember the exact setting), as it wasn't showing as HDR enabled to begin with.

Been playing Monster Hunter for the last week - haven't noticed any input lag at all (I'm rubbish at the game though, so maybe thats just me!) Looks stunning though - I didn't think HDR would make a difference, but it definitely does.
Is the external hard drive can be plugged for recording ?

It's under HDMI - the choices are "Standard" or "Enhanced". Enhanced only applies to HDMI ports 3 and 4.

Just thought I'd let people know that I have just ordered one of these for my granddad but from Curry's and they price matched the voucher to make the price £444.00, I used the live chat feature and they gave me a £35 after providing them with a link to the page at hughes.
Is the smart iptv app available on this tv does anyone know?

Tried their live chat but wouldn’t do anything for me as it’s not on the approved retailers list...
So I just noticed the TV is valid with this offer samsung.com/uk/…ar/ which states £200 when you buy a qualifying UHD tv with a Samsung all in one soundbar. So would this class as an all in one soundbar? hughes.co.uk/pro…451 Because if it does that's a potential extra £100 off and a free soundbar.

Nice one but for the cashback they want you to buy this all in one sound bar or this one!

I was thinking just the opposite. Remember when TVs used to actually stop working! I've got an LG has been going strong for 9 years now. Why can't it just die so I can upgrade!!

Ah okay that's a shame, I suppose £200 off a £400 soundbar isn't too bad mind you. TV + soundbar for £600. I haven't checked any reviews though so I'm not sure how good it is.
Great price, better than anything LG can manage at this price.
