Keep looking. Edge/bottom-lit TV's will only make you sad eventually

Very good value for money. For a similar featured and quality level from a better known brand you will pay significantly more. They are basically what LG used to be when they were trying to break into the market when they made well speced tv's but at a more budget friendly price

I know but my budget has now been given a twatting thanks to having new flooring over 58 square metres 😔
I know what OLED is but what's ULED? Is it Hisense's proprietary tech?
Just seen this is now £575 in Costco with a five year warranty. Looks a really nice tv and heard only positives about this model

Just put Ultra at the start of everything and you have ULED.
Got one for 550 from ao.com a few months back ita ok but wish I'd spent a bit more and got something better.

A bit more would be about £400 to see any improvement, just to put it in perspective.
I picked one up from John Lewis. They price matched Co-Op at £599 and I got a 5 year warranty on top. It’s a cracking telly for the price. Even better at £579

I agree. I have needed a new TV for a while but decided to hold out for OLED. Just bought an LG65OLEDB7 and so pleased I decided to wait for it.

If you're willing to wait, historically the prices will be at their lowest March through June as they sell off last year's 'old tech'

1200 I could have got the b7v for but if I had bit on black Friday could have got the e7v for 1100.
Going to see what happens after next year's models are released in march / april.

Either a 600 quid drop on this year's and will bite but no doubt will think 55 inches is too small for the room

You can get parts fall off of expensive Sony or Samsungs though. Infact you will always get reports of issues with any tv at this price range especially
