The Hisense O8B 4K OLED offers spectacular colour breadth, deeper blacks and brighter whites, from any angle. This Ultra HD Premium set brings every 4K frame to life with beautifully realistic 10-bit colour depth. As well as cinematic Dolby Vision HDR, Dolby Atmos audio fills the room to immerse you in your entertainment. The intuitive VIDAA U 3.0 smart platform opens up a world of online apps and streaming services, while built-in Freeview Play makes it simpler to catch up with your favourite shows.

4K OLED Screen
The Organic LED display doesn't have a backlight, meaning that each pixel is self-illuminating. Every speck of light controls its own luminescence for true depth and colour gradation. With 8 million of these pixels, this 4K OLED set produces impeccably deep blacks, whiter whites, and scintillating colours. And all within a blur-free image that looks just as stunning from any angle.

HDR with Dolby Vision
HDR deepens your view and shows shades previously unseen in home entertainment. Expanding light, dark and every colour in between to extraordinary new levels, this model's picture gets closer to real life. This set supports Dolby Vision HDR for a richly authentic, cinema-like image.

4K Ultra High Definition
This 55” screen has four times the number of pixels than 1080p HD TVs, delivering stunning realism, natural motion and incredible detail.

Features:

Dolby Atmos Sound: immersive Dolby Atmos places sound within three dimensions for an enveloping soundscape, with you at the centre of a cinematic audio experience.

Deep Blacks: thanks to the OLED panel, deep, rich blacks enhance contrast, adding depth, detail and texture for a more true-to-life picture.

10-bit Colour Depth: this Hisense OLED delivers the full spectrum of colour and shade for a vibrant and rich image of realism and clarity.

Smooth Motion Rate 200: Watch the action unfold seamlessly. Blur and lag is reduced, and clarity is enhanced for a smooth picture of fluid motion. Perfect for fast action movies and live sports.

Wide Viewing Angle: Enjoy an equally good image wherever you’re sat, perfect for watching with family or friends.

Great price for this TV, however hisense are ditching oled and my current experience of my 65m7000 which has had numerous bugs and is currently with a repairer would put me off a little

Maybe worth seeing if John Lewis or Richer Sounds will price match it for the guarantee
Not a great review on this great YouTube TV test site.

Not great input lag according to AVforums - "Gaming performance was a little disappointing with an input lag that didn’t stay constant when in game mode and all processing switched off. It moved between 37 and 59ms and we couldn’t get any more conclusive results than that." compared to the LG B9 which is about 14ms at 60Hz and 7ms at 120Hz.
Vincent does know his stuff. There are also a couple of pretty good reviews on this TV, especially given the price of this TV now:

Not much choice in OLED under the £1,000 mark, and this is a great price for someone who wants OLED on an absolute budget. If possible, at the budget end of OLED, I'd lean towards to the Philips OLED754 over this if max budget is £1,000, with the £969 deal at Richer sounds with included six year warranty.
Great deal this for an OLED🔥🔥
Nice price on this set and Hisense are a decent company, but the links above would give me concern to jump on this.
Bought an LG oled c9 a few months back. Super happy. Somewhat future proof, hdmi 2.1, VRR, etc. But most of all the TV OS is brilliant, the ui, the magic mouse, the backup images where there is no signal. Really loving it.
Definitely worth the extra few quid imo

I don't disagree about how much better the C9 is but it's £650 more, not just a few quid!
may as well just spend the extra 150 and get the LG B9 Oled rather than wasting 850 on the ScumSense

Oops sorry didn't know it had expired. Hang on for a lil bit tho they will drop again when the 2020 models are announced.
Heat for price but poor reviews regarding poor processor, motion, lighting & Dolby vision issues. Worth spending a bit more on something better if u really want an oled

Shpudl be possible to get for less than that. I paid £1189 for mine in the end, with 6 year warranty from RS. Not pennies for sure but not leaps and bounds more. Also time machine, so on and so forth.
I'd say the B9 is also on par/better than th is model. Should be doable for under a grand.

FYI John Lewis were selling sealed boxed clearance of this model for £749 during the post Christmas sales with a 5 year warranty included. That was in the Southampton store.
