Been waiting for this to drop. John Lewis have agreed to a price match. Doubt Richer Sounds will, because of Curry's lesser warranty.
This has been available for this price if you factor in the expired cashback offer, but now there's no need to jump through the extra hoop.

uLED featuring all 4 HDR protocols, local dimming, real 120Hz panel and not bad on the cd/m2 brightness either, nice spot
Is ULED like Samsung QLED i.e. not OLED?
Not gonna pay that money for a hisense no matter what.

Yes. Hence the deliberately confusing use of "LED" in the name.

Led was used before oled, why it is confusing?

That was also an attempt to confuse the consumer into thinking it was a "new" product when in reality it was just the same old LCD display tech with a new lightbulb.
Lol, could be worse - remember when they tried to convince everyone that TVs should be curved, for some reason.
£616 at amazon.de suspect it will drop further
Have to be careful with hisense, their customer services team don't consider half of the screen. Eing significantly brighter than the other half a defect, the dimming being broken and only working on half the screen is a limitation of LED technology. Fortunately AO came.amd.took it away and gave us credit.
I've ordered from John Lewis, I'm hoping their price promise and 5 year warranty will guard against either of the things mentioned above.

Edge lit with 16 dimming zones, not really going to be amazing.

I’d just pony up the extra for an OLED.

Have to agree, for budget end less than £500 they seem ok but anything else they look poor value for money plus from all reports their support is woeful at best but if buying from RS hopefully less of a problem.
Not seeing many OLEDs less than a grand though. Personally couldn't justify going over a grand for my current needs.
