Top features:
- It's all in the detail with 4K HDR
- Smart TV made simple with VIDAA U
- Sound bar quality audio in a slim design

It's all in the detail

From the Sunday league to Spielberg's latest flick, it all looks great on the Hisense H58AE6100UK 58" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV. The 4K Ultra HD display means everything looks pin-sharp, and even upscales lower resolution shows to bring new levels of detail to old classics.

Forget blown out highlights and lost details in the shadows. Everything looks just as it should thanks to HDR technology. By maximising contrast and colour accuracy, your movies and shows look more realistic.

Smart TV made simple

Can't wait to watch the latest episode of your favourite show? Hisense's unique smart interface is customisable, so it's quick and simple to find what you're looking for. Whether you want a Netflix box set, or check what's trending on YouTube, everything is just a few clicks away.

And with Freeview Play, it's easy to catch up on shows you've missed during the week. Simply use the programme guide to scroll back and launch soaps, dramas, or entertainment from the likes of BBC and ITV.

Sound bar quality audio

The Hisense AE6100 offers brilliant sound quality straight out the box. You get deep bass and crisp highs that surround you, and draw you into the action.

With no need for a sound bar, the slim design of the AE6100 offers a minimalist look for your living space.

  • 4K Ultra HD Certified with HDR10
  • Picture quality: 1500 PCI
  • Catch-up TV & 4K Streaming with Vidaa U
  • Freeview HD with Freeview Play / Freesat HD

Anyone know if this TV accepts Smart IPTV app?

No it doesn’t....Hisense removed the app from their store. I had to side load the SmartIPTV app to the amazon fire stick.

Yes i want a uhd tv without arguing with the boss
Love to hear sound quality on this. Be interesting to hear how they have defied physics by producing sound better than sound bar out of a flat panel
How would this compare to my 7 year old LG plasma? Would it be better or worse on standard virgin HD source?
Tia.

Your LG is non China, Hisense is Chinese.
Although this TV has all the bells and whistles and is 4K which I’m sure supersedes your 7 year old LG telly. reliability is guaranteed on the LG.
Big fan of Hisense now. Previously had a Samsung so was a bit wary buying this, but honestly can’t fault the TV for the money. Decent display, nice smart tv features, nice EPG, well laid out remote and punchy sound. I’m picky on sound and it certainly packs a punch. Mines the 5500 so a couple years old. Would certainly buy another Hisense TV

More than likely 8 bit + FRC as is my HN5700, but with HLG and maybe HDR10

I would presume the TV will just display what it can from that source's 10 bit signal, my Hisense accepts the full 10 bit signal from my Xbone X anyway

If I try and push a 2160p 10 bit signal to my 1080p tv then nothing. But that males sense as old tv. The hisense may accept it and downgrade but i cannot take that risk not even for 400 quid.

Afraid not, 8 bit + FRC. It'll accept the signal and process what it can but it's not "proper" HDR.
Don't do it they only rate their product to last two years confirmed in email when i complained about mine failing just under the two year mark luckily! So was covered with warranty. I expect it to last another two years now before it does again. It was the main board or something and a quick google suggests its a common occurnace with Hisense Tv

Love my hisense but yeah, started playing up just under 2 year warranty. Never bothered following it up, and totally went at around 27 months. Fair enough got a replacement board for like £15 and swapped it out. But my plasma previous lasted like 9 years without a peep
I must have been lucky.
Mine is almost 4years old, and still going strong. Maybe it depends on how long it's been used?
