What are these tv’s actually like?

I personally don’t own one so can’t comment from that standpoint (sorry ) but looking at the reviews from the other retailers like Amazon, Currys, Argos and John Lewis- seems pretty favourable actually. Maybe someone who owns one can throw more insight on it.
Is it worth returning the 7300 model for this one?
Thats an amazing price, had mine for nearly a year but paid closer to £800 for it

If you're on a budget and don't want to spend too much its great. If you've got the money, go for something a little better with true HDR (10bit panel) as that is what we're going to be watching in a few years if not already.

Probably one of the better ones in the £500-£800 range.

I've got the older 7300 and strugfles with amazon and Netflix hdr Content to the point where Id rather watch it in 1080p on chromecast, also there is significant clouding
which can further interfere with blacks.

Haven't tried it on a full 4k gaming console but am worried it will also look better in 1080p or 4k uplscaled rather than actual 4k hdr.

There are other minor issues that can be overlooked at this price point.

Edit: to add, I do not regret buying this TV, as when it does do what it's supposed to it's great. If you're looking for a spare TV or a second unit, it's perfect at this price point!

You're probably looking at over 1k for a decent true HDR model anyway.

I doubt any retailer considers Costco a like for like and hence would price match, because the costing and business model for Costco is different as compared to them.
Had the flagship model 65m7000 from a couple of years ago, when it worked properly it was good but it was also plagued with bugs and was eventually returned to JL last week for a partial refund. On the other hand picked up a cheap 50M3300 from amazon warehouse a couple of years ago and its been ok

I think RS price match Costco when they are in the mood.Easy to blag a trade card at Costco if you have a printer and make a few trade invoices etc.
90 day satisfaction purchase with Costco so if not for you simply take back in that time.
Pretty sure the picture is not the right model....

Stand is totally different on the H65B7500, this is the correct image.
Number of HDMI's is also wrong on that image.

Edit..my mistake just checked amazon account, I had the H65B7100UK not this 7500 model.

I got this exact model and size from Costco last month for £419,

Picture quality is impressive for the cost, sound is okay, some issues when the volume is low and it distorts the audio but not a problem in normal use. In built apps include Netflix, YouTube, all catch up channels and Amazon Prime Video. You can stream from your home network also which I find useful.

Even at this price it is still great value for money.

Are you sure on this, I've been tracking them with Costco and it was only the B7100 model which was priced at £419 because I've got one on order !

Yes, this was previously £420 at its lower at Costco.. I also have been watching these models.

For £100 more and less warranty you can get a PS4 thrown in:

Exactly what I’m wondering. For general use the 7300 has been fine for the money, but when it comes to dark scenes I’m pretty much trying to guess what’s happening on screen!

This has never been £419 you are thinking of the B7100 or B7300

Great tv! Make sure you turn motion flow off as when I got it I thought it broke. There can be problems with apps though. I love the remote how you have access to prime Netflix YouTube and freeview play at a touch of a button. Have no problem gaming with ps4 too.
Im gutted people can buy it this cheap as I got it last July for around £617.

The HiSense TV I have from Argos is a fair few years old now but it's great - 4K, built in Netflix and Amazon Prime and iPlayer that still work, even the built in media player plays HEVC/h.265 MKV files over my LAN. So ahead of its time, best TV I've had.
If you have a nice big flat wall, consider getting a HD projector. They're as little as £200 and provide a 170" equivalent cinema screen. They're incredible, complete game changer for watching films. Although big screens only suit certain things, so keep a 32" or something for news and garish ITV stuff.
Thanks
Decent deal and it supports the likely HDR HLG assuming the council telly goes that route 👌
Software is a bit slow but imaginative is really good

I bought one 12 months ago when they were reduced to £699. I returned it in December for a full refund after having a replacement one and 2 motherboards replaced(one I each one I had).
There seems to be a serious fault with the HDMI ports on the board.
It's a shame really as when the TV was working it was a really good picture.
I've banked my cash for now and waiting for a Samsung qled to come down in price.
