I'd take the 6 year, but to reach their own. Lots of options.

For a fiver more Direct Tv's or Appliances Direct have this for £994.97 and I got John Lewis to pricematch with their 5 year warranty

got this telly from Richer Sounds.....its a beast and really good value for money

Superb TV!

Are Hisense TVs available to look at in any shops? I wanted to check them out but despite being all over Richer Sounds and JL sites, they don't have any on display in my local ones.

I'd love to buy this but if the wife found out it would either mean instant death by frying pan or my mothers house for a week. oO. Heat from me.

I got this tv from Richer Sounds, really pleased with it (paid £950 as it was a customer return, apparently some guy bought it and his wife blew her top and told him it was going right back! lol)

Also works on 55m3300 and 55m7000 models though is it only manufacturers 2 year warranty with AO?

I would love that deal... I typed in Direct TVs into the price match web page at John Lewis and it says they don't price match them as they are an online business only, when they have a retail store in Huddersfield...

In the notes section on the pricematch form highlight the retail store. I have included a link before which may help.

and it looks like we the stand feet are well inside the frame...maybe the equivalent of the 55 inch model?

what's the difference between this and the 5500?

Thanks I will try that.

what's the difference between this and the 5500?

Primarily better build quality and Local Dimming.

John Lewis price matched direct TVs for me, but I already had a price match open with them against crampton and Moore. So I just replied to my existing email and they refunded a bit more. They only took it down to £1015 as direct TVs charge £20 delivery.

For me it is, yes if you can get it for around £1k. Although the other 5500/5510 model is still a bargain.

Bought this for 1100 last year and its awesome.

whats the black level on this. I watch movies with light off

Should I buy the Hisense H65M7000?

Hisense set out to make a good upper-midrange TV, and that’s exactly what it's done. If you’re a hardcore AV enthusiast and you’re after the last shred of detail in shadows and highlights, this isn’t for you. The Hisense H65M7000 doesn’t have what it takes to beat the likes of the premium LG OLED65E6V or the Samsung UE65KS9500.

Great TV. I can vouch for that. Please, please, please avoid directtv. Really terrible company with items getting damaged in transit and then accusing you of causing it! John Lewis price match stores you can walk into and give you their 5 year guarantee for free.

is this proper HDR?

No

I bought the Hisense HE65K5510UWTS which is still 65inches and its 4k for £699. The Telly is awesome.

code working still? Im get a expired message

I have just sent one of these back to John Lewis.

I played about with it trying to get a decent picture for a week. It has issues with complexions. I tried various firmwares and about 20 different sets of calibration settings.

Each day I would wake up, switch it on and start messing with it again as it didn't look right.

Have a look on AV forums, 240 page thread on the issue. Hisense seem to only be recognising it being an issue now.

People would have purple lips, red blotches on the faces or look like umpla lumpas.

I saw a brand new 48" LCD TV with a missing volume button advertised in my local store for £10.00.
I thought, " I can't turn that down".

A reviewer who bought this TV from Ebuyer: Standard Image not very good Sound isn't fantastic.
Is this true?
