Had my eye on this TV, seems a decent spec with HDR etc and huge size. Thinking to get this along with a decent PS4 Pro deal next Friday.

Never had a Hisense TV, but reading the reviews people seem pretty happy with it. Hopefully any current owners of Hisense can give opinion if possible on the comments below.

Thank you all

I've had a Hisense for over a year, it excels the £3k Samsung we have in the living room in every respect including build quality.

What is the difference between this model and this one?

Is the code just for this tv?

Looking at the Hisense site, I think the main difference is that this one is HDR. However I dont get why Amazon have put it's HDR, as Currys don't state it is HDR. Very confusing, but I guess best source is manufacturer site.

Could someone who knows their stuff on TV's please confirm

We must remain strong! We will get hours of enjoyment out of it and then can sell it when the time comes.

That's it, I'm biting. Not being delivered until after Black Friday so if anything comes out cheaper I'll cancel the Argos order. Thanks OP!

Only thing I would have liked is an extended warranty, but not worth another £100 from Richer?

The LCD panel bit depth doesn't have much to do with whether it's 'real' HDR or not, the big factor for HDR capability is the backlight. It's colour gamut and local dimming system.

It's rubbish in both of those areas though, like everything else this price, so HDR support is mainly their for compatibility. It's not a TV for anyone wanting to be an early adopter of HDR.

Sorry yes- as i was saying all very confusing. I just bought the Hisense H60NEC5600UK 60-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart TV from Amazon as they price matched Argos. For the cheap price it is a lot of TV ( True HDR or not).

Thanks chap, I was just trying to reserve an LG to see if I could get JL to price match it

Got this tv last week, beats my pannasonic 55” in every way, picture is stunning, build quality is great, sound is good and best of all it’s mahoosive, only gripe is no iptv/smart iptv app in the App Store, apparently it’s was there but it was removed due to piracy

Seems really expensive when you consider the poor HDR - such a shame a good portion of people will judge HDR on poor panels until decent HDR becomes mainstream

I just bought this Hisense H60NEC5600UK 60-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart TV from Amazon for £584 quid m8 and you might well be right but what can I get for that price in the market? Compared to my 7 year old Samsung 50inch 3D 1980i TV I am sure it will seem a lot better and at a price point meaning my wife will only remove one of my testes. If/when HDR is vital I will sell and buy an update- and lose the other ball

If only input lag was better than 50ms

For that price? Not much to be honest, sounds like a good deal for a 60inch.

Just not a great time to buy a TV at the moment, seems it's either pay out the nose, or buy cheap and pick another one up in a few years.
