AO have 10% deduction on this TV (automatically deducted at checkout) PLUS another 10% deduction using the ebay PLEASED code. This actually works out cheaper than the 20% code that was available yesterday because of the cap on the discount value. Hope this helps someone.

This is a newer much better TV, Extra HDMI, local dimming, Brighter, better motion, Dolby vision and Dolby atmos sound, better build quality, wide colour gamut.

Hinese for £647.19?

At least get the brand name right if you intend to degrade it...
I'm weighing up this or the Sony 55kdfx9005 in Costco. I know the Sony will have better picture quality, particularly HDR, but how much better will it be? Will mostly be watching 1080p TV, no gaming and only occasional movies. Is it better to go for the larger TV or the better quality one? hotukdeals.com/dea…889
Get the Sony dude, hisense are awful, must've had 10 of them trying to find one with a decent panel, dirty screen effect, light bleed allover them and the local dimming is useless the whole TV just gets darker and brighter scene to scene.

Bottom end Samsung or LG is better.

Was it this exact model of Hisense TV? There lower end TVs are known for light bleed etc but the mid range and above are normally a lot better.

All of hisense tvs are poor, read the reviews, bad banding and light bleed and very poor local dimming algorithms.

It was N6800 and it was replaced by this model for me which just as bad.

Cheap for a reason.

It's one of the higher end Hisense models apparently. It gets ok reviews. However I've just been to Costco to compare them and the image quality is noticeably better on the Sony - almost up to OLED levels, whereas the Hisense looked washed out, so I'm going for the Sony.

If all of there TVs where poor they would not be in business, There are plenty of happy owners out there you only seem to hear out the bad experiences people have, which for me is with Samsung I always get dead pixels or bad clouding, At the end of the day if you are paying a cheap price you have to expect some drawbacks as a similar specs TV from Sony samsung etc will be near double the price, 2 weeks ago I had a 50u7b delivered and apart from some mild DSE which can only be seen on grayscale tests the TV is perfect and i also have a sammy MU7000 and 2 OLED TVs so for the price I paid £400 it's a bargain every bit as good as the samsung but not as bright, The Hisense is half the price with newer features and better build quality what's not to like?

This is one of there mid range TVs, The sony is a full array TV so will look better this model is edge lit and a lot cheaper, The sony is also an old model that they are trying to clear stock it was over £1100 this time last year for the 55" The Hisense is a current model that retails at around £500 a big difference in price, Just a heads up the Sony is known for poor dimming that will show lots a bloomin around objects look at some YouTube videos before buying
