Has good reviews and HDR playback via streaming. been looking at this TV for a while and seems excellent value for money.

anyone got one - just curious what the viewing angles are like - I think I remember reading a review somewhere that said that the pictures wasn't great if you weren't sitting fairly central.

This seems to be the usual price?

There are multiple threads on this TV asking the what the lag is like for gaming but I'm yet to find an answer if anyone can help. Thanks

Cost is £29.

This is the usual price.
Last year model. Latest one is out soon
This tv is Not HDR

I was considering this one vs the 55m7000 which is the ULED HDR. For the same price. After reading up I went for the M7000. Better. Spec and on normal sky tv the Pixal will be bad on a 65".
But I was really tempted by this. Still HOT.
Need to order tho I think

OOS?

They will not deliver this

If you're concerned you can always bring your console/PC along to Richer Sounds for a demo. They're a very friendly bunch.

There are actually quite a few reviews available for Hisense. They are the 4th biggest manufacturer for electronics and have only just try to break in the UK market with their TVs. Hence the tv ATM amazing value for money. They have also just bought sharp TV in the USA.
I think you will find spec for spec you will be looking at £1600 for similar on Samsung or Sony

Anyone know whether the legs on these Hisense Tvs can be changed? My soundbase isn't wide enough to accommodate any Hisense Tvs as far as i know.

What do you mean? Mine is arriving today so I can take some photo of the base for you.

The legs that form the base are very wide apart, so was wondering can they be moved inwards so that the gap between them is narrower.

Original Poster

I've found out the legs are around 131/133cm apart apparently oO

HDR is irrelevant anyway if it's not done properly, even if this TV has HDR there's no evidence it's implemented properly.

Go into a shop and ask them to put one of the TV's in HDR mode. I put my samsung 7 series to the side real quick. I was looking at the 58inch Hisense which is suppose to get an HDR update but got a display LG very cheap from John Lewis so I wont complain. good luck in your search, I will say it is worth it. But I suspect more so on the newer TV's and once more HDR content becomes available.

Great tv and bargain if you can get one. I picked one up around a month ago when they first hit HotUKdeals before the euro2016 games. Impressive but if kit for the price.
Don't game so can't comment on that sorry.
Legs can only go where they are meant to unless you want to make something yourself. Have to be brave as it's not a light piece of equipment. Would worry it would topple over!
Richer sounds and 6 year guarantee. What's not to like?

0% finance if you repay within 6 months with a £29 fee, so effectively 4% interest.

I'm not being nasty I hope, but why couldn't you Google "What is HDR?"

trustedreviews.com/opi…ned

Here's what I'm getting at from the above article >

"Previously, HDR was rushed out to consumers before anyone had really agreed on a set of standards to define it. TV manufacturers and content providers therefore had very little in terms of clearly defined specs to work to when creating HDR screens and content.

"With the UHD Premium label, we now know the precise specifications to which a TV must conform in order to be considered HDR compatible."
Edited by: "fishmaster" 20th Jul 2016

For info my 50inch hisense got an update to give 17ms lag on gaming mode. It was shocking before. Moral of story is that hisense do those sorts of things. Can't say about this model mind.

My living room wall is only 80" wide, so any angle other than head on with a screen this size would mean me standing in the hallway, looking in through the door.

The Sunday Times had a Hisense in their TV review last week, that reputable enough?

It said the Hisense 55K321 @ £600 was the best entry level 4K going.

305 degrees for a TV that is not actually available from Richer Sounds. Crazy.

No one's an expert or should ever profess to be. Anyway that article more than answers your question.
