Hisense HE65K5510UWTS 65 TV, now £715 inc free delivery at Crampton and Moore
Still cheaper at Amazon when I last checked, but...
C&M has real physical shops so can be price matched with John Lewis..
Which I have done! I have the email back confirming the price match, and so picking up the 5 year guarantee and JL service if the peace of mind is worth the difference with the Amazon price.

Sorry had to get this off my chest, I like John Lewis and their great customer service but it's not worth the extra 50 beans.
Didn't realise AOL were selling Tv's now!
You make it sound so easy.Yet I bet you will be jumping through hoops and god knows what else to try and get anything sorted out of the 12 months warranty. At least if you buy a TV with an advertised 5 year warranty you should only have to make one simple phone call for it to be sorted, and not having to start reading out all your consumer rights down the phone to someone who will just tell you where to go.
Plus not everyone has a credit card.
It is easy. Ring credit card company, dispute the transaction. They do the dog work and refund your money. If you don't have a credit card then step into the 21st century.
Do you get one of those free CD's, so that you can install American Online on your Windows 95 PC with it?
And what if the credit card company says no ? Then you've got to take it even further again.
Hardly worth all that hassle.
How many times have you managed to claim for a TV when it has broken after 5 years of ownership ?
Zero times for a TV because it's normally out of date technology wise by the time the 5 year comes around. But used the sale of goods act plenty of times and work for a credit company so I know how basic it is. Clearly you don't. If you can't get a credit card then you have poor credit so you probably aren't in a position to be buying a £700 TV. Anything else irrelevant you'd like to add?
You forgot to add the fact that you don't get all your money back if you put in a claim, only a percentage and that is based on what use you have already had out of it.
Like I said not worth all the hassle for a measly £50.If you are that hard up that £50 means so much then I suggest you look at other TV's and stop buying on credit !
Personally I wouldn't go for this TV anyway as I've just purchased a 7000 series Samsung so have no need for another TV,but this deal doesn't seem too bad if you are on a budget.and can get JL to price match.
From experience of someone having to claim the JL 5 year warranty is easily worth £50
I did check the price in Crampton & Moore yesterday and most of the time, the price was £715 and in fact JL price matched for £715 (they refused to match HISENSE20 code). How did you managed to get for £699 (that too without the code)?
It is designed for upto 60 inch TV but I am thinking It might still do the trick , it is a vesa type pedestal stand.

Crampton and Moore were £699 with no code when i looked and subsequently JL looked when they price matched. Mines being delivered by JL on Saturday
