Does anyone know how this differs from the 65M7000 model?

really want one, but also want 3d enabled.

only 8bits+frc ?

I've voted hot on the price alone, however Richer Sounds have a 6 year warranty for what's effectively £84. (Priced at £799) if that's helpful to anyone.

Cheers

Reading some of the reviews about AO on TrustPilot is a bit scary. Apparently, you can inspect the item for damage, but if you turn it on and then want to return it, they will charge a huge restocking fee (unless the item is actually faulty). Not liking the picture, sound, resolution, etc., is not enough to avoid their restock fee. Compare this with RS, Amazon, or JL, where there is a no quibble returns policy (plus 5 or 6 year warranty with RS or JL). It's available at RS for £799, though they may price match. Amazon has it at £755 now.

True but they do have 9.5 out of ten on TrustPilot with 75,000 reviews and it's not like AO are some backstreet shop if you know what you want then I'm pretty sure your gona be fine

You and me both! Getting annoyed that she's not texted back to give the go ahead...and wondering how long I'll wait before I risk going for it and getting it in the neck later! She told me last week that the 55" LG we have is already too big for the living room!

Exactly. Restocking fees for 14 days returns are illegal, but AO still charge them. Quite amazing really. Definitely a company to avoid.

I want this TV but not a fan of AO although having said that I have bought a TV from their returns shop and it was fine......could really do with the added warranty......damn it! If anyone has any look with price matching let me know as I think JL do this tv too......

Why do Hisense insist on putting the feet so far apart on their tv's.

That's rather a blasé attitude, if I may say so. The law says that a consumer is entitled to inspect a mail order product, in his home, for up to 14 days before returning it for a full refund if unsatisfied. How can you be certain you will be satisfied with your purchase without having inspected it?

Isn't this 8 bit?

Called RS - they won't price match because the warranty is not at least 5 years. JL have it at £899 now. So, it's either buy it from RS for £799, or AO for £715 with a 2 year warranty (Hisense give an extra year when you register online), or Amazon for £755 and pay for their extended warranty at £114 for 4 years).

I knew I wanted the tv so nothing competes for me for the size and ability to play HDR Xbox games but thanks anyway !!

So it has the specs you require, but what if the quality was unsatisfactory? Buying from AO would mean that if you were to legitimately return the unsatisfactory product within 14 days of receipt, AO would illegally withhold some of your refund, calling it a "restocking fee".

Oh well. That's it done. Delivery next week. Wife's gonna kill me.

I take the point about being able to inspect it and return it free under Distance Selling Regulations. Luckily, I paid for the home legal cover on our house insurance, and they cover exactly this type of legal situation! So if I need to return it because it's not up to scratch, and they try to fob me off with a restocking charge, I can let the lawyers get involved!

From the reviews, it shouldn't come to that unless I get a faulty panel.

Fingers crossed!

Agree about earlier comments regarding AO's outrageous re-stocking fees. I personally wouldn't buy something like a TV from them. But heat added for the price.

Go ahead and deal with the consequences. I hit her with the bomb shell of the old TV (59") going on the rear wall. That threw her a little so softened the blow for me haha

On the owners' group on AVForums, someone emailed HISENSE to ask, and there's an email back to confirm. Not absolute proof, I know...
