Paid £249 for the 43” a few days ago, now it’s back at £199, does anyone know if Argos offer a price match? Can’t seem to find it anywhere online
Buy it again for £199, return next day and "return" it for the £249 one

Great price. Dropped by £30. Tempted. Heat added.
Has anyone used it to play PC games on? Is it any good? My kids have a gaming PC and I just got the Xbox Series S (reconditioned from the £157 deal on HUKD). I could move them into the other room.
I have this tv, haven’t used it for pc games but have used it with Xbox one with game mode turned on.

no issues and works great for me, specs say input lag is 16ms for gaming

Looking for a cheap 55" TV that does 120Hz, any suggestions? (edited)
Those two things aren't really compatible

Are HiSense TVs any good? I've seen the brand before but don't know much about them
Good value for money. Obviously as you spend more you get better quality. Apparently low-nits so don't expect quality HDR presentation. You want high nits you want QLED minimum.

Be aware that Hisense parts are impossible to get so if it breaks …. I had a 65” and it was written off at 2 1/2 years old due to non availability of parts ( luckily bought from John Lewis).
My 65" A6G was written off after 7 months Full refund provided but I had to repackage and send the damn thing back. Not to mention remove it from the wall etc. Gah!

all reviews say the SD upscaling is trash and too low brightness for HDR. i had the 55 roku TCL same review criticisms, and yes watching sat tv from sky etc on SD channels was unwatchable. its was very so so on HD channels (i dont know but does it upscale that to 4k too?) best suits 4k content streams this one. the viewing angles on this is better than the TCL.
trustedreviews.com/rev…-tv SEE this review, scroll down and there is a ncie review feature, an SD and HD comparison split photo that you can slide compare.
Picked one up today and set it up in son's bedroom. Very impressed for the price - good uniform picture as direct lit. It's a north facing room so brightness seemed fine, and roku system means universal app coverage. SD channel on free view not that great but he never watches live TV anyway. HD good and 4k looked great and it's not burning 250w like our Samsung light cannon in the lounge. (edited)

Don't fall for this Hisense nonsense. Parts not available. Once you purchase, you're on your own, making this essentially landfill rubbish.

Not to mention, nothing screams "I can't do any better" than brands like Hisense, TCL or Xiaomi.
Why, who are you trying to impress with your TV that they'd judge you for its brand? :P

Don’t rely on Argos stock information - we ordered for same day pick up and are still waiting 3 days later for SMS. Used to be good until Sainsbury got in the mix
I just got one order confirmation email saying its ready to pick up

Haven't picked it up yet so hopefully it will be there ready for me! (edited)

£319 using code “TV10” to take £10 off the price, free delivery says 3-5 days
No mention of 6 year guarantee, not a deal-breaker just wonder is it a deliberate exception.

Bought the 43" for £199. Bargain!

People can get so fussy over features and quality. When you are only paying £300 for a 55" tv there will always be compromises (i.e HDR not that great). However as a deal, this is very good.

    Great price

There's one available 6 miles from my house. Randomly checked for Oxford, available in Newbury, 24 miles away.

The price on the 55 inch model jumps around every few days. Very odd.
Probably algorithmic based on buying practices. Reduces during less busy days to attract ifs and maybes. Rises when more bullish purchasers are ready to pounce.

Nearest for me is Umrston so stock around Greater Manchester for anyone wanting one - heat added OP - good deal this

We bought one at around this price a few months ago. Great value for money. It suffers the usual issues with cheap TVs such as not great blacks and blocking in dark scenes you need to pay a grand more to get rid of those kinds of issues though.
This is great value, but you can get much better for just another £100. I picked up the 55" ULED U8G model which goes to 1000 nits max brightness last week from PRC

I have previously had hisense, now got mid to upper price sonys, if you can comfortably afford the sonys get them or Samsungs etc, but if can't or don't want to spend silly money, hisense sharp etc will more than do the job, honestly unless you frezze frame you will be hard to tell the difference, the only thing I would look at is app support netflix etc

    Good for 55”

Got this, had it a year, paid £100 more. It’s a quality tv - has all we need and more - and I’m a tech snob. AMA

    OOS for me sadly. Damn

Showing avail to collect near me but £329? Am I missing a code or something?
Looks like it's changed back to its original price now so offer over I think.

I own the 50"version (3 years), no problems with it only the usual with sound, which a soundbar rectifies.
can a sound bar attach to the tv itself? ive got a sound bar and got a similar hisense, non roku version and ideally i want to attach the sound bar to the tv but not sure if the tv actually has that option.

Got the 65" a couple of weeks ago and very pleased with it so far.

Yep Showing £329 my end too

Sorry if this is a silly question but the Live TV app, is that essentially same as having free view? So you get most of the free channels you are likely to watch including the bbc? Thanks in advance.
Yes mate, live TV = freeview

Good price for the TV, heat added. If you want a TV for gaming 120Hz, Very good picture, Dolby Vision spend extra £200 and get the TCL 55C635K or Sony XR55X90JU.
